Shropshire mums

Can anyone tell me about their experience about their antenatal care and delivery in the hospitals in the region.

Does anyone know if there is a drop in weighing climbing anywhere to get my LO weighed (16 weeks) near Ludlow? I have tried phoning the 0333 number we were given by the health visitor to try book an appointment and after 25 mins on hold we keep mysteriously going from caller 1 to caller 3!

Hi there, I moved to Newport earlier this year with my husband, but haven’t had the chance to meet anyone due to losing my Mum to cancer in February - I hadn’t felt like socialising until now. I’m 23 weeks pregnant with my first baby, I’m 38, and looking to meet some new friends ❤️

New to the group, currently living in Newport and have a four month old son and ten year old daughter!

Hey ladies. Some inspiration please - I live in Shrewsbury and know a few places round here and Ludlow that are small person friendly but would love to know more to start getting out and about across our lovely county.

In shrews there’s Shropshire wildlife trust next to Asda and the Abbey and museum (cafe) in town centre that I’m looking forward to going to. And in Ludlow, the Linney - an area by the river great for feeding ducks, castle ground walks and paddling in summer. Any places you’d recommend? Maybe we could even get a few meet ups in!
