New here 35 with a 4 yr old looking for mom friends

I’m looking for friends that would want to meet up somewhere that kids can tag along. I’m thinking playdates at the park, coffee dates, etc. I’m 31, a full time accountant mom of a 3 year old and I really just need a friend to hang out with on weekends / evenings and someone to talk to! All of my family has moved out of state, so really needing someone to connect with besides my husband and kid. Let me know if you are interested in meeting up!

I’m new to the area and would love a mom friend or 5! I’m very goofy, always making a dumb joke, love fixing up my house and making things, going thrifting, watching movies, would love a friend to go to plays with, I like to read, go shopping, get my nails done, throw a party but I’m a hard introvert lol. If any of that huge run on sentence sounds promising, please message me! Should I organize a thrifting trip or something? I miss female friendships so badly. Now that my kids are older, I have free time and can do things.

I’m a Mom… and I would freaking love a friend. Or two, or three… but anytime I have tried Mom Meetups or anything like that, I’m either the oldest one there (37) or it’s the most awkward meeting of my life and I just want to go home and be alone lol. Has anyone been successful making friends with this app or any other way as an adult? It seems like it should be so easy to find a community but MAN is it hard. I have like 3 people I talk to randomly, and we hang out like twice a year for dinner. I just want a friend or gang of friends to go eat dinner, catch lunch, go camping, take out on the boat, whatever. Sometimes I just want to invite someone over for Taco Tuesday. I need success stories or something!!

Anyone feel like it’s impossible to make new friends? I had a lot of friends as a kid and now I have none! I would love to meet some similar friends to do play dates and what not with.
