Breastfeeding UK 🇬🇧

My baby girl is turning 6 months on Sunday so we are starting weaning next week ( She’s ticked all of the readiness boxes for a while other than age). She is EBF other than one bottle of expressed milk a day (so Dad can also feed her) and will continue to be until at least 12 months.

How much water does she need when weaning? Does she even need water if breastfed?

Might sound stupid asking 😅 but I’m a ftm and don’t want to give too much or give it if it’s not necessary etc

How many of you have had jewellery made from breast milk? Would you leave a review on it, did you do it yourself & or which English companies do you recommend if you can?

Tell me when you introduced a dummy to your baby and why? I want to hear different people’s experiences of why they use a dummy and how they have found it/ did it help etc. My 7 week old is EBF and I’m trying to make a decision whether to introduce a dummy or not.

Almost 3 week postpartum and I’m ready to give up on breastfeeding. Midwife said baby girl lost more weight than they will like on day 5 so for every 3 hours feed I have to top it up with 70ml bottle and because she has jaundice they advice breast milk is best to get rid of it. Baby girl is on the breast all of the time cluster feeding, I don’t have time to pump. I pump when I’m feed her which has made one of my boobs bigger than the other, baby won’t feed on it because of the let down. The more I pump for relief the more it comes back fuller. I just want some time to sleep and not be a full time boobs.

I had my little two months ago and he is my second and have been breastfeeding him. I am all new to this so still learning every day I try to pump in the morning before he gets up and at night hoe many times can you pump does the milk run out in boob photo so don’t get lost
