So breastmilk is produced on demand. The more you take out, the more you produce. I would be careful not to pump too much, as you could end up with an oversupply (where your breasts produce too much milk). You will never fully run out of milk. Even if boob feels empty. Looks like your LO is super happy so I think you’re doing well
I have tried to explain a bit but mostly I recommend you follow a lactation consultant on instagram, I like Lucy Webber. They are the real experts and I have learnt so much from them

I wouldn't stress about pumping at all unless you're apart from him?

It’s only as I am
Going out for tea tonight so he be at home with his dad to make sure he has plenty till I am home xxxx

Ah ok. The problem is that pumping might not get the same amount as baby gets on the boob. But leave equivalent of one feed if youre just going out for a few hours?

If you're just wanting to pump to have the occasional feed available for you to go out. Your actually better off doing short pumps after baby has a feed. Always allow baby to have a full boob for his feed. It's very rarely recommended to pump before feeding, this can definitely cause an over supply. Sounds like your doing fab though! Well done

Thank you everybody xxxx
