Ginger is a natural deterrent for nausea so anything that has ginger in it will help. Also bland foods were easier to keep down; crackers, buttered noodles, broths, etc.

I had a lot of ginger, lemon and ginger tea, ginger biscuits, ginger beer, Jamaican ginger cake… ginger was my best friend! Lol. Also ritz crackers for days it was particularly bad with no dairy intake. I also bought sea bands that press into certain pressure points on your wrists and honestly they’re a God send! I bought them for all my friends and family when they got pregnant lol.
My nausea was from start until I gave birth and this worked for all three of my pregnancies, I was only sick a handful of times but was nauseous from morning til night… it was literally 24/7! X

Most recommend ginger so if you can stomach it try some ginger chews you can find some in the pharmacy or Holland and barret. Also hot water and fresh ginger juice. After I got tired of the ginge as soon as I woke up I nibbled on some crackerbread. Then I drank alot of water but small sips very regularly. The doctor said the water flushes out a hormone that contributes to the nausea but you have to drink loads. I also noticed that if I didn't eat breakfast my nausea would worsen so I forced my self to eat in the morning even if it was a tiny portion. I had hyperemis it was horrific so I really sympathise with you. Hope you feel better soon 💕

The sugar free ginger beer from Tesco has been my go to for nausea! Any menthol hard boiled sweet seems to help too! Jakemans Throat and Chest work best for me. ❤

I had sickness from 6-15w and then heartburn nausea was back from from 20w onwards (now 33w). Different things work for different people, listen to your body and what is making things better or worse for you. What worked for me was to eat something - a few crackers or biscuits as soon I woke up before I even sat up. Small bland meals, I ate buttered pasta for many many dinners. No hot drinks. Not eating and drinking together. Sipping ice cold water and cold watermelon or grapes from the fridge (my first trimester was summer though).

Anti nausea meds are the only thing that helped me, otherwise id vomit and faint multiple times a day 😒

Travel sickness bands and trying not to move too quickly when you first wake up. Constant snacking and having rich tea biscuits to hand in case of hunger emergencies seems to be getting me through. No big meals eat little and often helped me survived the first 8/9 weeks. Mine has started to settle now but still get rough days xx

Vitamin B 12 sometimes drinking really cold water to will help

I had some digestive biscuits first thing in the morning. It definitely helped me. Other than that I survived on dry crackers like Ritz till my morning sickness passed.

Ginger biscuits, flat cold lemonade and nibbling vegetable sticks often are things that helped me x

NOTHING helped me. Threw up with everything. Ginger, nausea meds, ice, EVERYTHING. Nausea meds would help but didn’t completely get rid of nausea, and listorine mint strips helped as well.

I’m suffering quite badly, I’m 8 weeks tomorrow!
I’m taking anti sickness meds.
I find if I keep eating little and often this helps.
Lemon squash, fizzy haribo, salt and vinegar crisps and any sort of lemon sponge helps.
Hope it gets easier for you xx

To be honest you're going to have to see what works for you. Everyone was telling me ginger/ginger tea would make me feel better but it made me feel worse and I threw up more. I had to experiment with things and I found that soda crackers, ginger ale, soups, and lots of fruit helped me. I always had bowls of fruit ready for me in the fridge. If you've had a stomach flu before, and you found that some foods help I would do that because you're already familiar with those kinds of food. Good luck, girlie, you got this and don't forget, this will pass and you'll feel much better. ❤

For me it was either ice, lemons, or lollipops. Hope you feel better!

Smoke a blunt 🧖🏾♀️💆🏾♀️

I'm 30 weeks and still sick near enough every day. The stuff that helped me then and I will still eat now on bad days is.
Dry toast
White bread with boiled eggs no salt no Pepper
Bland boiled pasta
Crackers with philadelphia
Cereal with skimmed milk
Plain boiled rice
Plain fish and chips no salt no vinegar
Boiled potatoes. Plain boiled potatoes :(
I hope you get through it xx

My nausea lasted during the whole first 13 weeks to the point i couldn’t even sleep at night, i tried all the tips i got from my midwife and people around me: ginger tea, ginger biscuit, ginger sweets, verbena tea, eating + 6 tiny meals through yhe whole day instead of a proper meal…etc. What helped me was actually cucumber 🤷🏻♀️😂 i used to eat it like a little bunny and watermelon. This two were great for me.
Good luck! Hopefully it will get better once you reach your 12 weeks!

My Dr recommended
Doxylamine-Pyridoxine Tablet

Ginger biscuits and travel sickness bands for your wrists 😊 I didn’t take off my travel sickness bands for 12 weeks 😂

Mini cheddars! 6 small meals a day and lots of snacks
