Sleep vs. Diaper

So my LO is about to be 5 months 🤯 and has been sleeping through the night more often than not. My issue is when we all wake up in the morning he has peed through his diaper all over his clothes and bedding. It's a hassle to change and have to wash everything daily. My issue is this: should I get up during the might and wake him up to change him and then most likely feed to go back to bed?? Or should I let sleep and is there something I can use instead to keel from having to change everything daily. A FTM so I have no idea which side is better to do 🤦‍♀️

I second night diapers and getting 1 size up.

Worked great for our son, stopped leaks at night 🙏🏻

We use Honest diapers and LO sleeps 12+ hours without a nighttime diaper change.

I wouldnt wake him if he doesn’t wake up from it. I’d get overnight diapers in one size up and sposie pads to put inside. My daughter is 5 months next week and she sleeps 12hrs and went through a period where she leaked constantly but it never woke her up. The sposie inserts have worked wonders Bc her butt was always wet when I changed her in the AM almost like the diapers couldnt absorb more and now it’s dry.

I would change him throughout the night. Would he definitely wake up if you did? I get not wanting to, but he’s still so young that he’ll most likely pee through any diaper because he’ll go so frequently.

You can try an overnight and/or size up like other suggested

I use Target brand overnight diapers and they work great!! She’s in them for 12-13 hours and has only had 1 leak

I cut down the size of his bedtime bottle, and offered more earlier to make up for it. Usually keep it under 4oz.

I used to put just a t shirt on my LG and change her in the crib not waking her around 12, popped the clean nappy under the dirty opened it wiped and swisher it out close new nappy job done no leaks and no waking up baba, she'd mooch a bit after but never woke fully

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Hour night wakes and 5am get up

Can anyone shed some light as to why on earth my child doesn’t want to sleep??? My eyeballs are bleeding!!

Never been a good sleeper, but the problems always changing. He’s nearly 9 months old.

Beginning of the month he dropped to 2 naps. We could put him to bed at 7pm and he’d get up for the day at 6am, with multiple wake ups every 2/3 hours.

Now we put him down at 7pm, he can do a good 4/5 hour stretch, but come 1/2am he’s up every hour then getting up for the day at 5am. This then completely messes up the day because I can’t keep him awake long enough to even get to 7pm, let alone later.

He has 2 naps, roughly about 1hr10 each but it changed based on when he wakes and trying to get him to a reasonable bed time.

What could be the reason for this? 6am is fine, but 5am is not 😩😩

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
