6 month old baby started sleeping on his side

Am I paranoid for being terrified about this? Every time I move him back onto his back he goes back to the side. He isn’t the best or overly interested in rolling (not sure if that’s good or bad). Anyone else babies do this?

I don’t blame you, I’d be worried too! I’m sure he’s fine though x

Completely fine if they get themselves into that position, just always lay him on his back when you put him down as you’re doing. My girl rolls straight onto her front every time and has done for a couple months now.

I would probably move the muslin now he’s rolling over like that though in case he gets it stuck underneath him etc.

My lo started sleeping on his side after 4 months! I was so paranoid 🙈 but they say as long is them doing it it’s completely fine.
Now my lo sleeps on his stomach and the first few nights was nerve wracking but I’ve realised he’s all ok x

I remember when my little on started sleeping on his side around that age and I panicked at first but it’s a new skill they learn 🥰😍

It’s absolutely fine though as long as you put him to sleep on his back .
Id just make sure there’s nothing in the cot that could get stuck under /on him
Xxx

My baby sleeps on his belly… at first I tried to move him back but he cried so much so I left him sometimes I had to turn his head. Now he’s a couple months older he’s sooo good at sleeping like this and knowing how to turn his head making it safer

My baby been sleeping in all position since birth side front he hates his back. At first you get a little worried cause first time they doing it after a while you will get used to it. I would just remove everything from his cot though the muslin the teddy everything and let him explore without any hazards xxx

Are muslin okay if it's breathable then I guess it should be fine but if you can find away to remove it when he does go to sleep then that may give you some relief.

But yes my son never slept on his back he only did it in hospital and they had to swaddle him for him to sleep on his back. He doesn't like it don't know why he does his tummy or side but never slept on back since the say he was born always tummy or side xxx

My little boy has slept on his side since he was 2 weeks EVERY SINGLE nap or at night and he is fine. Now that he rolls over to his tummy I find him on his tummy and his bum up 🤣

My LG is sleeping on her tummy! I’m so paranoid about it, can’t sleep as I keep waking up to check she’s ok! Xx

My LO started sleeping on her side around 3 months and then when she learnt to roll at around 4 months she started sleeping on her belly, and that’s how she sleeps now every night without fail! xx

My baby only sleeps on his side! I wish I knew to put him on his side earlier to be honest he slept so much better ❤️

Mine has been sleeping on his side since a week old he's 6 months now and still likes to sleep on his side he's able to roll but he doesn't acc go all the way butttt saying that the last 2 weeks as he's started rolling I've had to just put pillows in the cot so he doesn't roll all the way but I don't want to force him to sleep on his back when he clearly likes his side
(He does his hands exactly like urs it's the cutest) they probably did it in the womb

Ahh my little one started doing this. I was under the impression i can let her sleep on her side if she moves into that position by herself. Ahhh 😱 do i need to put her back on her back? This will mean I’m not getting any sleep as she’ll do it all over again all night long. She also rotated on her tummy a few times. I checked her head was on a side and no obstructions from a breathing perspective. When she wanted to go back, she gave a few cries.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Hour night wakes and 5am get up

Can anyone shed some light as to why on earth my child doesn’t want to sleep??? My eyeballs are bleeding!!

Never been a good sleeper, but the problems always changing. He’s nearly 9 months old.

Beginning of the month he dropped to 2 naps. We could put him to bed at 7pm and he’d get up for the day at 6am, with multiple wake ups every 2/3 hours.

Now we put him down at 7pm, he can do a good 4/5 hour stretch, but come 1/2am he’s up every hour then getting up for the day at 5am. This then completely messes up the day because I can’t keep him awake long enough to even get to 7pm, let alone later.

He has 2 naps, roughly about 1hr10 each but it changed based on when he wakes and trying to get him to a reasonable bed time.

What could be the reason for this? 6am is fine, but 5am is not 😩😩

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
