Mamas book club?

Would anyone in the Taylorsville area who enjoys reading be interested in starting a book group? Meet up with the kiddos while they play and we chat about a book? (Also, mamas totally understand that it’s nearly impossible to read a book in a day like some other book groups I’ve been invited to).

Wish I lived closer I totally would do this! Lol

I think that could be open to discussion. I tried to join one once and they were all self help books (not my cup of tea). I would say books could be voted on, majority rules and if you really aren’t feeling the book that month, just skip. I would hate to add more stress to any mama’s life.

So I have a few (more than a few but I will just share a few) books on my reading list I’ve been interested in:

Roll of Thunder Hear my Cry
Hellen Keller story of my life
Wild Swans

These are all varying lengths. I think Roll of Thunder hear my cry is the shortest. I have read it before but it has been a number of years.

depends on the books. I think we should start with something like mainstream book like hunger games so we can kind of see everyone's opinions.

I’m dog crazy, usually a gamer, a bookworm and getting back into my fitness. I have 2 dogs, a cat, a step son and a 9 week old little dude.

I love long forest dog walks, paddle boarding, quality time with my family and coffee.

Mothers who work and have kid/s under 5 years old, what’s the maximum hours you work a week

I'm only asking this because, if you are a mother it's hard to balance work & childcare together unless you have support.
In the UK, the government only give 30 hours a week of free childcare. That means it's 6 hours a day Monday - Friday.
So it means as a parent, unless somebody else will collect your child from school, how will you work 9-5 a day?
You can't work full-time can you unless somebody collects your child from school

Looking for my best friend even if far apart

If you love texting and getting a reply and love to try to keep the convo going I also try too but I believe friendship works both ways I’m 34 from Cincinnati Ohio and really looking for my best friend. If you want a bestie that no judgement I’m your girl I’ll give you advice too but never judge!
