Hey there! After everyone convinced us we were having a little girl, we went against our gut and started planning for a girl. Guess what?! Our gut was right and it's a little boy! We couldn't be more excited! Except...we can't find a name that we like.
We're looking for a name that works in English, French but with Japanese origins. We had found Nora which bonus is the hubby's name backwards for a little girl that was Japanese, french and English! But we have no such luck finding anything for boys.
At the moment we have Kai and Hiro, but they don't translate well in French. Kai in French (caille) is quail. Hiro, named after an uncle who passed, sounds a little too classic but would love a spin on it.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I know a Japanese lady who named her baby boy Haruto and I love it it’s easily pronounced and spelled in English and I don’t foresee it being an issue in French either

Kenta, Taiki

I looked after a little Japanese boy called Nori :) x

Hi! My boys are half Japanese and named Kenzo & Kai :) other names on our list included Ren, Noa, Masaru, & Kazuya. We also had way more names for potential girls - why are girl names so much easier??

I named my daughter Komrebi. That’s fun…. Hahahaha
I’m concerned as I’ve been on antibiotics for an infected c-section site. But have gotten a cold/flu like symptoms now (cough, sore throat, runny nose and headache). Having googled (worst thing I know) it says it could be possible sepsis, I have an appointment Tuesday for a review of previous antibiotics given. Would it be recommend to call maternity unit due to gp being closed over the weekend or do I wait till Monday to see if I can get an appointment then instead of Tuesday.
Any advice would be appreciated

I’m pregnant with my 2nd baby. I just received first ultrasound results. And they put in the results that I have a small fibroid , small cystic lesion and a small subchorionic hematoma. Was wondering if anyone experienced any of those things? I’ve been having a lot of cramping too - wondering if one of these things are causing it ðŸ˜

Has anybody else not taken their husband /wife /partner with them when they went into labour? My husband came with me the first time but I’m genuinely thinking of taking my mum this second time around she hasn’t asked me to or knows that I want her to maybe come. I just feel like my partner isn’t reliable enough for me to get in touch with him all. Maybe it’s done it once don’t need to do it again situation I don’t know but I thought it was normal to take your partner but maybe not for everybody?

I’ve been having braxton hicks since about 1pm every 10ish minutes. They’re not painful but it’s been about 4.5 hours. Is there any chance this could be labour? Or just braxton hicks?

Ive been told i’ll be contacted within 12 hours to go to hospital for them to check things over as ive got no contractions or anything. My chosen hospital is also full which means i’d have to go further away if i do start contractions now. How long after your waters breaking did your contractions start? This is my second baby but waters never broke with my first
