Anyone else's toddler hate bedding ?

My two year old daughter has a lovely bedding set a pillow and a duvet . But hates both . She rather sleep in her gro bag still . They do make them up to 4 years which is good . So took the duvet out , to hope to try her with the pillow . She hates the pillow she throws it either out the cot going bad or pushes it to the other end :/ Anyone else's hate the pillow ?

Also when did you transition to toddler bed . She still in her cot bed . But don't want to move her yet , as I am worried her sleep will be bad as she will get out etc . Wondering do I keep her in it till her brother needs it when he turns bigger at the moment he is in his Moses basket then will go to a space saver cot in our room .

My boy is 18 months and he isn't a fan of blankets. He loves his pillow but he'll just kick his blanket off šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

My son (2) also does this

A pillow and duvet is a PITA to tuck into the sides and change on a cot anyway, I don’t intro a pillow or duvet until they are on their toddler bed. Intro them later on the toddler bed- they look better on a bed anyway ā˜ŗļø

Unrelated but where did you get this soft crib liner I’ve been looking for one in Amazon no luck

Personally I think if she doesn't want a pillow or duvet there is no need to introduce it, the pillow is only for comfort but she's clearly comfortable without one for now. Also the cot bumpers are incredibly unsafe, babies have died from using these as they can pull them off and end up strangling themselves in them in the night. The cot looks quite high to me, at this age the cot should be on the lowest setting otherwise your toddler may try to climb out, fall and land on their head.

You can transition to a toddler bed anytime you like, whatever works for you really but if she does start to try and climb out then their is a risk of injury so a toddler bed would be better.

My daughter switched from a crib to a toddler bed when she learned how to climb out at 22 months. We never even offered her a pillow until she switched to the toddler bed
I personally feel a duvet is too much in a toddler bed or crib. My daughter only likes thinner blankets that she can move around herself

my son doesn’t like blankets he’s just starting to use pillows at 3 he’s been in full size beds since birth. maybe it’s time to make the transition to something like a toddler bed. and if she’s not comfortable with pillows and blankets take her lead. my sons always been like that since birth he gets overheated and can’t sleep some kids are just naturally hot sleepers.

My two year old also hates bedding. Sometimes he’ll use a pillow but rarely. It’s not a problem - he’ll use it when he wants. It’s also super hot at the moment so mine is sleeping in just pyjamas.

Entirely your decision of course, but I’d ditch the cot bumpers… I know she’s a toddler so it’s not so risky but they really aren’t safe at any age.

My 4 y/o hates bedding also, never stays under the covers. She tosses and turns but she transitioned at 2, took about six months for her to adjust to toddler bed. Every kiddo is different, its up to you to decide when she’ll be ready to move to her big girl bed. Good luck mama!

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Hour night wakes and 5am get up

Can anyone shed some light as to why on earth my child doesn’t want to sleep??? My eyeballs are bleeding!!

Never been a good sleeper, but the problems always changing. He’s nearly 9 months old.

Beginning of the month he dropped to 2 naps. We could put him to bed at 7pm and he’d get up for the day at 6am, with multiple wake ups every 2/3 hours.

Now we put him down at 7pm, he can do a good 4/5 hour stretch, but come 1/2am he’s up every hour then getting up for the day at 5am. This then completely messes up the day because I can’t keep him awake long enough to even get to 7pm, let alone later.

He has 2 naps, roughly about 1hr10 each but it changed based on when he wakes and trying to get him to a reasonable bed time.

What could be the reason for this? 6am is fine, but 5am is not 😩😩

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon šŸ˜‚

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
