Sleep routine at 6 months

Hi ladies! Just interested in what your babies are like with their sleep at night. My daughter is 6 months on Sunday and not sleeping through.
She goes to bed (in our room still) by 7/7.30. We do a dream feed around 10. She will wake between 2-3 and can be difficult to resettle. Then wakes around 6-7am.
I dont know if this is common? I thought id be getting a better sleep by now 🤣

Hiya, my little girl is 5 and a half months and honestly having the same issue 😅 we have tried to get her into a routine but it is hard. Depending on when her last nap is in the day she goes to sleep (in our room) anywhere from 7pm-8pm but she will still wake at least two or three times and then wants to start the day at 6am so it's a killer some nights. She went through a phase about a month ago where she'd sleep through until about 4/5am, have a bottle and sleep till 9am which was bliss.

Everyone asks if she's sleeping through the night yet and it's like DONT ASK ME THAT 🤣🤣

My girl goes around 6-7pm and will fuss around 3-4 but usually settled with milk and then up at 6am ish, could you drop the dream feed / make it a little later? What’s her day time sleep like? Waking is totally normal and sleeping through can still count as a block of 6-7 hours x

My little one exactly the same 🤦‍♀️goes to bed between 7-8 then will wake between 10-11 and again between 2-4 then maybe 6 but I have to give him milk each time and he goes back off its hard work my first slept through from 7 weeks so not used to this he hardley sleeps in the day either so I don't get anything done 🤦‍♀️ xx

My LG is 5 months (EBF) and she wakes between 2-3 times a night, depending on what time she goes down.
We're not strict with a routine and just follow her cues.

Its biologically normal for infants (0-3yrs) to wake through the night and need their care giver, so don't feel like you're the only one going through it x

my girl is exactly the same

My boy at the moment is waking every 30mins-2hrs from his bedtime between 7-8 and his wake time of 6-7

He seems to sleep slightly longer 2 nights a month (1 spate of 3hrs for 2 nights in a row then back to shit) I a zombie living off cake and sweeties, I fear it won't get better until he had all his teeth, has mastered standing/walking/walking on hands/several languages etc 🤣🙈😭

27 week old boy- goes down between 7-8. Wakes anywhere between 3 and 6 times per night. Been like this for two months now, prior to that woke twice per night. Really really hard. Holding out hope for positive changes soon.

24 weeks here. Goes down around 8:30/9pm and is okay until around midnight then starts stirring every 1-2 hours for her dummy. Wakes around 3am for a chat and goes back to sleep with her dummy. Wakes again around 4/5am for another big chat and usually needs a feed to go back to sleep. Will then sleep from around 6am until 8/9am and then up for the day.
I'm dead inside and out and living on coffee 🙈😂
She slept a solid 9 hours from around 8 weeks until 18 weeks and but the past 6 weeks have been frequent wakeups and no end in sight yet 😩

My LG will be 6 mo on Saturday. She wakes up at 6:30 - 7:00, and has 2-3 naps for 30'-45' during the day. She naps only if I lay next to her in bed or in her push car during walks. She goes to sleep for the night at 18:30-19:00 and she wakes up every 2-3h. We sleep downstairs, where I put a mattress topper on the couch so she can sleep there. Every time she wakes up I feed her to sleep and then go to sleep on a second couch in the same room. We cannot go upstairs because my 2y8m old boy sleeps with his dad in one of the bedrooms and they would wake each other up even in separate bedrooms. It is tough but I believe in giving babies what they need even though it's not always comfortable for the parents.

he fights sleep in general but will eventually go sleep but some reason in the day he just seems to cat nap so he will have 3 30 min naps just an hour would do don't understand how he only has that long 🤦‍♀️

could have wrote that myself! My boy is exactly the same xx

Every baby is different obviously but myself and my friend have babies 5 weeks apart and they are polar opposite. My little boy has slept through since he was 8 weeks, he does 8-8/9 but wakes up at 5 and sleeps the rest in bed with me. (Please nobody jump at me for this it’s just what personally works for us!) I know how lucky I am but just wanted to say my friend and I have the same bedtime routine and our baby’s are both bottle fed, and her little boy just would not sleep at all :( he was waking 3 times a night and doing 8-5/6. Things that have worked for us did not work at all for her boy but he suddenly changed a few weeks ago and has been sleeping through. It will get better and you are doing a great job. Definitely ask family or friends for some help for a day or two and get yourself some rest ❤️

My girl will go sleep between 8-9. She’ll sleep through the night, doesn’t have milk and she’s been doing this since 3 months. We introduced a routine with her fairly early but it’s not majorly strict. She’ll wake up in the night a few times for her dummy and settles back to sleep fairly quick but sometimes it can take half hour or so it’s since she’s been rolling she’s done this so I think she just gets uncomfortable. She’ll be 6 months next week, wakes up around 7 xx

Nearly 6 months old here, goes down at 8pm then will wake between 11pm and 12 and then back to 2 hourly feeds until 6-7am x

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Hour night wakes and 5am get up

Can anyone shed some light as to why on earth my child doesn’t want to sleep??? My eyeballs are bleeding!!

Never been a good sleeper, but the problems always changing. He’s nearly 9 months old.

Beginning of the month he dropped to 2 naps. We could put him to bed at 7pm and he’d get up for the day at 6am, with multiple wake ups every 2/3 hours.

Now we put him down at 7pm, he can do a good 4/5 hour stretch, but come 1/2am he’s up every hour then getting up for the day at 5am. This then completely messes up the day because I can’t keep him awake long enough to even get to 7pm, let alone later.

He has 2 naps, roughly about 1hr10 each but it changed based on when he wakes and trying to get him to a reasonable bed time.

What could be the reason for this? 6am is fine, but 5am is not 😩😩

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
