Going off tea and coffee - pregnancy sickness

Anyone else found that they have gone off coffee and tea completely when nausea started? It's so sad because I stocked up on decaf teabags and ground coffee and my partner used to make me a coffee on weekend mornings but now it's just a sad glass of water. Can't wait to get back into my coffee morning rituals! (As soon as I can stomach the thought of it)

I can drink tea fine but can only drink the emmi or start ready made coffees cannot drink hot coffee

I completely went off tea and coffee while I was pregnant.. and that’s going from about 3 cups per day, to nothing. I bought myself all decaf tea and coffee as well, but just the thought of it made me feel sick! Started having some hot chocolate in my second trimester.

@Paloma same! I drank coffee so much before and since the sickness started it's been 0! But I've been majorly thirsty. I've had a few hot chocolates, it's helped me with my sickness weirdly.

That was how my husband knew I was pregnant with both babies even before I had taken a test. I drink sooooo much tea and coffee during the day but when I am pregnant I can’t even stand the thought of it! @paloma I also started drinking hot chocolate instead because I still wanted something nice and hot to drink. Now I still have a hot chocolate in the evening

@Laurie same! It helped with my sickness! But, I was worried about having too much sugar, so I even bought myself a low sugar one to have at home 😅

Same @Koko ! I fancy a hot chocolate now in the evenings, every so often, ever since pregnancy

Oh I did, couldn't drink tea throughout the whole of both my pregnancies. The moment they were born I was chugging it down by the gallon!

Me too but I started drinking that herbalife tea and it was amazing for me!! Caffeine in it too

Try iced coffee. I couldn’t stand hot coffe, but loved (more like obsessed!) with iced lattes!

I am pleased to report I could drink tea and then coffee (decaf ofc) after around 18 weeks which was when my sickness started easing 🙂 hang in there mammies!
