Has anyone had a red sore inflamed cervix? I’m 13 weeks pregnant with our IVF baby and had 2 weird quick bleeds when I went to the toilet then once I wipe it all away everything was normal. I went to my obstetrician and both times bubs was totally fine and kicking around. He found the bleed was coming from my cervix when he touched it. Apparently this can happen due to all the hormones. He has used a chemical to burn the surface to prevent bleeding although now I just wipe and have a pale pink weeping discharge. He told me this was normal and that baby was healthy and fine and my cervix was closed and how it should be. Has anyone else had this and been fine?

Were you / are you on crinone?

Is yes sorry I was on the progesterone pessaries

My obstetrician says it’s cervix erosion. Which doesn’t harm the baby or me but just goes away on its own. After 3 babies I have never had this before.

I had similar on crinone with my son. I was on 3 x a day until 15 weeks due to low progesterone/ bleeding / threatened mc. All was okay, thankfully. The crinone caused irritation of the cervix and I had pink as well. The bleeding was from threatened mc though. I didn't have the erosion issue that I know of but they could see my cervix was inflamed.
It's upsetting always checking the paper for blood and the constant worry.
I would keep getting support from the obstetrician to keep your mind at ease that all is OK.

Yeah all my levels are perfect. Bubs is perfect. My cervix is closed still it’s just the erosion that they say can be caused by the drop in oestrogen and progesterone because I just came off all my ivf medications. I’m glad your pregnancy turned out and your son is ok. I think when you see any blood when your pregnant it is so scary. I guess I just need to trust the professionals. This week alone they have checked bubs 4 times on a ultrasound and she moving around all fine. I guess I just need to allow my cervix to heal xxx thanks for your reply ❤️

Best wishes for you and your little girl
