@Analise yay us! Haha 😂 it’s one thing after another over here. I guess it’s what I get for having an “easy” pregnancy up until now 😂
@Krystal hey Krystal! I also have gestational diabetes, yay we are just winning! I’m also being included at 37 weeks.
@Shawnee hey Shawnee! I did not have heart palpitations. I felt totally fine, just had high blood pressure.
Hi! I definitely understand how you feel. I was diagnosed at 30 weeks and 4 days and I will be 32 week tomorrow! Let me know if you need anything I am here to always talk!
Preeclampsia is solely driven by the placenta. What helps with BP management outside of pregnancy doesn’t fix it here. So don’t get overwhelmed or disappointed when you make changes in your diet and exercise etc. those are still good. But my advice as an ob - be aware of the dangerous symptoms. Head to toe: Headaches that don’t go away after Tylenol, hydration and rest, vision changes (spots, swiggly lines etc), shortness of breath or chest pain when you’re resting, pain on the upper part of your abdomen especially the right side or swelling ( legs are expected, but if you see your hands and face has doubled that’s not okay). Any of these concerns or your blood pressures are greater than 160 (top number) or 110 (bottom number), call your Ob ASAP! Once you have preclampsia, going past 37 weeks is dangerous for you and the baby.
