Is anyone on fragmin/deltaparin injections?
After two FET miscarriages I was advised to have a thrombotic risk profile blood test which I paid for with my clinic to find out I have factor v liden which means my body may be clotting and causing me to miscarry, I had a successful fresh transfer with my son so it hasn’t affected me before.
Anyway I was due to start another FET, our last one this month but found out I was pregnant naturally earlier this month. I am taking asprin and the blood thinner injections but I am so bloated and extremely bruised. Has anyone else had this? Or any advice on how not to bruise? I’m injecting in stomach.

I was taking enoxaparin and unfortunately could not avoid any bruising. Did only the stomach maybe try injection on your thigh

I’m on Fragmin and aspirin too. Honestly the bruising feels so random to me - sometimes I think I’ve nailed it and the next thing I know there’s a small galaxy in that spot the next day! And then other times it hurts loads but nothing to show for it. I have found them a little bit easier at a 45 degree angle even though they advised 90 degrees, but apparently it can catch some little capillaries that way so if you’ve tried one maybe try the other? Also been trying to gliiiide it in rather than push/stab! I’m also so bloated but I thought that might be from the progesterone I’m taking too, or maybe just general pregnancy bloating. I feel like it’s getting more difficult as time is going on with all the bruising and it just generally being sore. All in all, I feel your pain and here if you want to vent! Xxx

I’ve been on them for just over 2 weeks now and the injecting is getting harder and no matter how slow I go sometimes that needle just won’t go in 😿 I’m not on progesterone this time round but I look like a large house 😹
How long have they said you have to inject for? X

I completely get it - it’s really hard. Can your clinic do some demos for you to check technique? I’ve been on them on and off since last summer and will continue til 6 weeks after giving birth. In it for the long haul!

I’m not sure as it’s not an ivf baby this time, may have to speak to my midwife next week. I’m under early pregnancy because of previous losses and they suggested the thigh but OMFG the pain of that x

I've been taking them injections before I got pregnant and I'm still on them at 34weeks. you just get used to it though not easy but it's worth it. goodluck all

Is it linked to APS syndrom?
