Anyone know how many moms (%) who hire a doula to advocate for them in the hospital with an epidural-free birth succeeded in an all-natural, intervention-free birth?

Sounds ideal but sadly a hospital and all natural and intervention free birth are don’t exist. You’ll have to birth at home for a physiological birth

I didn’t have a doula but a very supportive hubby and had our first baby in a hospital natural and intervention free. 💗
Did a lot of mental prep work along with lots of research etc.

I think what she was referring to is that leaving your home is the first intervention in disturbing birth. Its extremely hard to rely on a doula in a hospital setting because they are not the patient they basically have no say in the process. You have the final say and will have to speak up and deny any interventions you dont agree with
