Baby weight gain

Would be interested to know the weight of your little ones. Mine is 20 weeks and is around 6.4- 6.5 kg (we weigh him at home). His birth weight was 3.3kgs. Is he underweight as I think he is following the 25th percentile?

As long as he's following a trend it's all fine. If he started to drop percentiles then I'd contact the health visitor but if you think he's roughly following the line then there should be nothing to worry about.

yes he has always been following the 25th percentile since birth. I keep hearing that other babies are more chubbier and weighing much more so was getting worried

I think as long as he’s following a centile it’s fine, we were the 7th, now the 19th xx

our babies are very very similar birth and current weights, 3.28kg at birth and currently 6.8kg. i see my HV every month due to monitoring a birth injury and shes happy with her weight and not concerned x

As others have said, if you're following your centile lines you're fine. All babies can't be above average because then the average wouldn't be average! We have the opposite problem, born at 2.9kg, she's now 8.5kg at 23 weeks, she's stormed up the centiles and event though she's breastfed I worry she's overweight!

I was due on April 2nd and baby boy arrived at 39 weeks after a positive induction on gas and air, too late for an epidural and 48 minutes in labour. 💙

i’m just here to say TAKE YOUR MAGNESIUM!

magnesium glycinate! i’ve been taking it nightly with my prenatals and i have not had any of those brutal charlie horse leg cramps at night. i had quite a few my first pregnancy i didn’t take magnesium and im now almost 37 weeks with my second and have had none! it also helps me actually get some sleep at night. soo worth it!

Suspected Food Poisoning

I'm currently 28 weeks and away on holiday. Yesterday I made the mistake of eating a hot dog from one of the all inclusive trucks that are dotted around the pool areas (I know dumb choice). After about an hour I got super nauseous and uncomfortable. I tried to rest it off but it just lingered, I felt lethargic and went down for some dinner, I got as far as eating two pieces of cucumber and I couldn't put my finger on the feeling but my stomach was uncomfortable and I felt like crying - I didn't feel well at all. After attempting the third bit of cucumber I darted for the toilets as I felt sick or maybe needed to open my bowels (which I already had an hour before and it was normal). Anyway, turns out it was both. I vomited a large amount and went to the toilet multiple times. I cleaned myself up and sipped fresh water for a couple of hours before going to sleep. I also managed an orange and a couple of dry non sweet biscuits. I haven't visited the toilet overnight again but my stomach does occasionally get a wave of nausea. Baby has been active all evening through this, was active at night for a bit and seems to have started some wriggles this morning. Do I need to go find a hospital/maternity unit and get checked or do I just wait and see how I feel today? I'm hoping being able to hold something over night is a good sign. I also have gestational diabetes so am a little worried about my blood sugar dropping or not keeping it steady. Any advice would be appreciated.

Early Scans

How long did people wait for early scan, did a test last week and said 1-2 weeks pregnant, is this too early for a scan?
