Scan at RBH

I don’t think I ever had the option to buy extra scan pics at my 12 week scan at RBH, I’d imagine they’d accept card due to covid but I’m not 100% or just call up and ask

I never had to buy any and we got 3 x

I had the same letter but when I went they gave me a few and didn’t mention money at all

I have 12 week scan on Wednesday too. Going to Newbury hospital and they have also said to pay for photos! 🤷🏼‍♀️ So confusing xx

I had the same letter/confusion. I think the letter uses standard wording across hospitals in the area. I think some hospitals charge, but I am sure RBH doesn't. I didn't pay for any scan pics from my 12 week or 20-week scans. They just printed 3 off for me both times.

I didn't have to pay for scan photos.

The scans are completely free and there is no option to buy more x

Ive been to both RBH and West Berks hospital and I got loads of photos at both and have never had to pay. I had quite a few scans too xx

The machine to pay is broken and has been since before covid, so pictures are free!

You don't need to pay. But if you do I'm sure they would take card. You should get 3 for free as standard.

I think you used to pay at RBH as I remember having to get a token from a machine just outside the ultrasound department with my son back in 2018 but had my daughter August 2022 and didn’t pay for pictures at any of the scans and was given a few each time. X

When I went for mine the machine was broken so they were just giving out the scans for free (I’m 34 weeks now so this was pre-Xmas but my last scan a couple of weeks ago was the same) x
