Putting baby in carry cot on the pram

I'm a FTM and currently 38 weeks pregnant. When I put baby in the carry cot pram attachment do I put feet at the bottom like I would of I was putting baby in moses basket? I know it's probably a really silly question but I just want to make sure I'm doing it properly expecially when is comes to safe sleeping weather that's in the Moses basket or pram while we are out.

I didn’t even think about that🤯 personally I don’t think I’d have second guessed it and place her anywhere, knowing when she’s in the pram I’ll be pretty much focussed on her🤷‍♀️ I’m intrigued now…

I would say you don’t need to overthink as much as a Moses basket or cot as the carrycot is simply for going out. I would put my daughter feet bottom as hers was titled and I didn’t want her to slip down lol.

yeah It just randomly popped into my head and I got really curious and I couldn't find any advice regarding it, only about safe sleeping in moses basket/cot x

the carry cot for my pram is quite big but I think I would feel more relaxed putting my little boy at the bottom. I know I'll be able to see him at all times but first time mum worries have kicked in 😂😅

I would've put mine feet at the bottom, but now I'm not sure because I'm trying to imagine what it'd be like the other way 😂

I don’t put mine feet down at the bottom, as she’s so small if I do I can’t see her under the cover 😂 I keep her just above so I can see her. When she’s a lot bigger I’ll probably put her feet down x

Depends if you’ll be using blankets or not? The feet to foot of cot rule is so they can’t slip underneath blankets.
So if you’re not using the in the pram then no you don’t need to, but if you are then yes.

Depends. Most carry cots have a cover. If you put them feet down they'll be under the cover and you can't see them and there won't be proper air circulation.
Also even with if you don't use the cover and use a blanket you'll see if she is moving under the blanket and you can reposition the baby easily. But to be safe you can while using a blanket

I asked my cousin about this as the carrycot is really long and has a cover so if she went feet to foot I literally wouldn’t be able to see her 😅 she said because obviously I’ll be awake and watching her it doesn’t have to be feet to foot in that instance xx

If you put him/her at top just keep an eye on baby if you want to be extra safe put at bottom, it’s not silly your just being a good mum so ask away xxxx I’ll be putting my baby at the top so I can have the cover on so I don’t get nosey people staring at him

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
