I would honestly wait. There’s not much to see this early. I was 8 weeks + 3 days with my first baby for his first ultrasound, and I’m actually bummed that we went so early because he didn’t even look like a baby. For this baby, our first appointment is at 9w+2 so I’m excited to see the difference

My insurance covered it . Unfortunately at 5 weeks we only saw the sac however they told me to return in two weeks and they will do another in hopes to see the baby.

I use window to the womb. Make sure u check the offers sections of the website site as i got line cheaper ☺️ im going at 7+1 x

I have a scan tomorrow morning and I'm around 6 weeks, it's purely because ive had previous miscarriages and the EPU want to keep an eye on me, I'm really not expecting to see much x

that’s what mine was for too, was super quick and to just confirm viability. I posted my pic in the comments if you want to see an idea of what you’ll see.

My dang anxiety was the same way I just wanted a scan. We are 8.5 weeks and I’m finally getting mine today

I considered going to a private place that does ultra sounds out of pocket payment - early as six weeks called iseebaby

Is it a 3D scan? cos it looks like one.

It really depends! My OB does six week ultrasounds. Some do it sooner than others!

I had first scan at 5+1 due to a subchorionic hemorrhage and saw the gestations sac. I had a follow up at 6+1 and still only saw the GS I have a third ultrasound on Monday. I’m hoping we finally see baby and it’s not diagnosed as an empty sac.

If it will put your mind at ease go for it, I went for a reassurance scan with my first and it made me feel so much better x

Ultrasound direct are fab, i had internal at 6w and saw heartbeat then abdominal at 8w. Its affordable and really put my mind at rest x
