Looking for opinions on which is best to treat Colic? My nearly 4 week old has been on infacol for a week now and I’m not seeing a massive improvement. He’ll be a month old soon so considering trying Gripe Water instead?

I’m using a combination of both, they can both be used together! I give my little one Infacol before his bottle and gripe water afterwards, if he is having a bad spell of crying I dip his dummy in gripe water and it settled him down almost immediately. Hope this helps ☺️

Following as in same situation, also how do you give babies gripe water? X

Gripe water is from 6 weeks I thought or is it 4? I’ve switched to colief finding that better than infacol

I was giving infacol and then have started with gripe water now hes 4 weeks. I put his gripe water in the teat and he drinks it that way x

I use the Infacol droplet to squeeze 5ml into back of babies mouth he takes it pretty well no issues so far x

thankyou, grabbing some today so hopefully it helps him x

no worries, dipping the dummy in also between feeds if they get super unsettled helps calm them also! X

Colief helped us i found gripe water pretty much useless

Gripe water is 1m + however I spoke to my gp and she said it’s not a massive issue to give it to babies under 1m, of course if you’re not comfortable with this then check. I don’t give my baby a full dose I just dip her dummy and it helps settle her
