How soon after birth did everyone have sex?

5 weeks after birth when I got cleared by my OB. I felt good overall physically and emotionally, also needed a deep connection to my husband after feeling like roommates for weeks.
Did it feel good? Nope, but it wasn’t terrible and it gets better with time

8 weeks, absolutely hated it and ended up waiting until 12 weeks to try again 😩

When my doctor gave me the okay like a responsible person

Right when I was cleared at 6 weeks

Around 3/4 months after birth. We hadn’t been particularly sexually active for quite a long time, after a few ivf cycles and fairly constant spotting while pregnant and scared things were going to go wrong. So we weren’t particularly missing it.

21 month sleep regression

Oh my god is a 21 month sleep regression a thing!? Waking every hour crying.
I feel like I could cry 😂 I’m completely exhausted 😩

Feeling really disconnected from my husband…

We have a 3 year old son. When our son was a newborn my husband prioritized my MILS feelings (was afraid to be honest with her and hurt her feelings). I was recovering from a C section and she was at our house uninvited when we brought our son home. He knew she was there but didn’t call her and tell her to leave. She knew I didn’t want her there when I brought the baby home.
We invited my MIL to meet the baby in the hospital- she did. The only thing that went wrong was she told us she didn’t like the name we chose for him. Also told me not to feed our baby formula because “it’s poison”. My MIL has always been bossy- controlling, uses a lot of guilt and shame to control things. She’s tried to control how we manage finances, where we live, and now how we raise our son.
Basically since my husband didn’t prioritize my feelings as the new mother - and didn’t put us first- I’ve felt unattracted to him. I view my husband like a he’s man child. He has finally realized how difficult his mother can be. But I just have felt so unsupported by my husband and part of me just wants to get away from him. I want our relationship to work but the connection and attraction seems to have vanished. I have a fantasy of meeting a man that’s mature, emotionally intelligent, that I feel taken care of. Just venting and advice welcomed…

Do you take your kids/toddler (not an infant) out (park, grocery store etc.) in pajamas?

I feel like my nipples are too big

Baby was doing ok the first couple days until i realized he wasn’t getting enough to eat. Cue pumping and supplementing with formula. He’s doing really well but everytime i try to get him to latch he gets so frustrated and like can’t even latch anymore. Did I make a mistake starting to bottle feed? Do I still try to get him to latch so he doesn’t forget my nipples 🥹

Breastfeeding Mums - what are you doing at night?

As our babies are starting to sleep longer stretches, I wanted to ask for those breastfeeding how they deal with their milk. I find even if I am still feeding 2 or even 3 times in the night, the time in between is still longer than in the day so I often find I wake up having leaked through my breast pad, bra and top.

The most obvious thing to me would be to pump, but the nice thing about baby sleeping longer is I thought I would be able to sleep longer too! And I know if I get up to pump (having to sit upright, noise of the pump, sorting the milk after etc) that I would have trouble getting back to sleep. Not to mention it would probably wake my husband up too. Curious how others have dealt with this. Are we just accepting being leaky everywhere? 😂

Tonie boxes, are they worth it?

I am guilty of screen time with my baby and I really want to cut down on this, my little boy has recently turned one and I’ve been thinking about getting him a tonie box. Are they worth it?
