After his 1 month doc check up.
2days
Like three days old lol
He was 5 days old the first time I took him out
2 days, we went out as long as the weather was nice, and tried to stay close to home the 1st week.
Besides doctor appointments, 5 weeks was our first official outing. We felt so accomplished afterwards!
Like 3-4 days old!
See my newborn is one week and two days and I took him out today and now I think he has colic he has been crying for hours and he is only content in my arms
1 month, I was tired of being in the house lol
He was a few days old 3 I think. Only because I had to because I had to get my medicine.
Besides Dr visit at a day old and two week, we didn’t go anywhere until they are a month. It gives baby and me time to bond, establish breastfeeding, and builds baby’s immunities. I am never as much of a germaphobe as I am that first month.
He was 2 days old 😅 I had no choice. And I consistently walked him around the neighborhood in his sling once he turned a week old. And then when he turned a month I took him out to the store.
1 week, we went to his first dr appointment then to the diner 😋
We went out of town after one week lol

2 days old, the day after I got home from hospital. I felt fine physically and wanted to get out of the house so that it didn’t become something I was worried about. My husband and I just walked about 15 minutes to the local retail park (possibly too far for my first outing as I was fairly tired after), but it was all fine and meant I didn’t feel as nervous about my first outing without my husband when he went back to work after paternity leave. It’s personal preference and everyone feels differently so just go with how you feel and don’t feel rushed to do t before you’re ready!
I have 3 kids and after I left the hospital I had to go to the store for different items before going home
Almost immediately. Get out as much as you can the first four months while they sleep so often! We were back out at happy hours and early dinners with the baby strapped to us within 2 weeks.
5 days old we went out to eat
Hey! I took my LO out to the mall at 4 wks. I carried her in my Ergo baby carrier, and honestly, I was going mad at home. I don’t live near any family and my hubby worked crazy hours. I needed to get out for my sanity, and honestly, I felt so accomplished after that first outing.
Less than one week.
We left the hospital and stopped briefly by my work, I knew they all wanted to see him but i had no desire to drive back up that way anytime soon. Lol
Get out while you can! Lol yes the fresh air is so great for them! The only thing to worry about is going places with a lot of people in a small place, like malls and so forth.
Of course germs are good for a baby but try to avoid crowded places and little kids at least until 4 weeks
I don’t remember her first day out specifically, but my daughter has been going to the bowling alley (husband bowls in a league) since she was 8 days old. She used to actually fall asleep there
Two weeks
I took both of mine out the day we left the hospital.
Couple days old, some lady commented saying oh your already out with your baby.. yeah I have arrands to run lol
We went out the day we left the hospital... to the worst possible place, Walmart. 🙄 I live way out of town and it didn’t matter how prepared I was I always needed something I didn’t before.... so with all 3 straight to Walmart.
She went to her pediatrician’s appointment and lunch with me two days after coming home from the hospital. She was 5 days old. I had my mother to help me with her. She also went with me to my OB appointment and to walk around the mall the same week. This momma was going stir crazy after months of bedrest.

Four days old to drs and store Two weeks mall and to get food
I got cabin fever pretty quickly & was out visiting family & friends when baby was 3days old. However it took me 7weeks to pluck up the courage to take baby out on my own.
A day old. I couldnt sit at home. People thought I was crazy. I might be, but my kid is almost 2 and hardly ever sick.
Took my newborn out for a short walk in the pram when he was 4 days old. Been trying to get out for at least 30 mins every day.
A few days old. Trust me I was that mom like oh hell no im not taking my baby out for a month..... yea no lol
We stopped at target on the way home from the hospital. We kept him covered for most of it until he started screaming then I carried him around.
I took my baby out just days after she was born (mainly because that’s when I felt like I could walk like a normal person again). If you have a stocked diaper bag and a good attitude you are ready to go! Don’t be scared over taking your baby out because they don’t know what’s going on, and they will probably sleep the entire time.
4 days old to petting zoo my daughter who was not even 2 yet at the time needed out of the house and then again at 1 and a half weeks old we went to Disneyland
Had Dr appt 3 days after we left the hospital and then another appt a week later and did some grocery shopping. It went ok but exhausted both of us.
Two-day after birth, and take her out everyday regularly since 1-month old
He was 3days old and we went to walk mart and ihop he did good in wal mart but did do to well at ihop he was tired and hungry
I had her at home close to 11pm. We were encouraged to go out as soon as I was able to...so we went for a walk the next morning. Not even 12 hours old.
We went to the basically empty mall about two days after because i was getting stir crazy
On the way home from the hospital we stopped at Walmart.. So he was about 30 hours old

I took my daughter out two days after being released from the hospital so she was 4 days old. We did the dr and then buybuybaby for a halloween costume. She did great
We were out for walks starting the first week. I felt like outside is fine ASAP and am waiting for the 1 mo mark before indoor things with people/germs.
I’m a little crazy but (other than doctors appts) I waited til 11 wks bc flu season scared me so much. And even then I only did it bc my mom was visiting and begged me.
