I’m really not sure when is best because I was under the impression they change constantly 😕 I’ve been buying crop top style or ones that are sizes as S,M,L instead. I noticed hotmilk do bra sized ones but they have loads of adjustment on them so you don’t need to be too exact with the sizing

I’m planning to go to M&S for a fitting this week… 35/36 weeks. Will report back

Bravissimo recommend either 2 weeks before or after due date.
I went this week though at 32 weeks as running our of bras and wasn’t going to buy non nursing ones at this stage.
I got a stretchy material one with good coverage. I then went to M&S and found their bras awful in comparison to Bravissimo.

I went into M&S at 35 weeks and they said it was too early. They recommend no more than 2 weeks before. I bought a couple of crop top ones anyway as I have bad PGP and sciatic nerve pain that is really affecting my mobility (am now on crutches) so not sure I will really feel like heading to the shops at 38 weeks.

My friend went just before labour but none of them fitted. She had to send her partner to buy new ones after baby was born. I bought some soft stretchy sports style ones in larger sizes so hoping one or two will fit and if needed my husband will go bra shopping after delivery 😅

I messaged Bravisamo and they said anytime after 36weeks I am hoping to go this week or next week to get fitted so will be 36/37

First Midwife Appointment

I had my first midwife appointment yesterday, I've been left full of worry is this normal?

She came to my house, she was so lovely I do feel lucky to have such a good midwife. The meeting was about an hour and a half.

There was so much information to take in I was very overwhelmed!
She went through all the scans testing etc, I never knew there could be so much 'wrong' with a baby. I have now booked an early scan I am freaking out.

I've been googling statistics all morning

Pressure down there?

Hi recently I've noticed when I'm walking I feel pressure 'down there' specifically my urethra, feels like I need to empty my bladder but I don't. Is this just baby's position? It's so uncomfortable

What if I don’t want an induction?

Hi everyone, I’m 39+1 weeks, my next midwife appt is on my due date which I am happy about however hope I go into labour before then. I have had slight twinges and small pains, however nothing has happened yet and I am gutted as I really don’t want any type of induction. Say I get to 41+ weeks, and I don’t want any type of induction, what happens then? This might be a very silly question but my midwife isn’t helpful and would rather hear from others as opposed to doctor Google. Thanksss! X

How many people can stay in hospital

Hi all, do you know how many people can stay with you in the hospital after your delivery in the recovery room? Mine is a planned C-section at Homerton. Do they allow more than 1?
