Baby measuring on 97th percentile

Im the same and now 33 weeks. No other scan til I'm 36 weeks and until then I'll not know if he's still a big chunk or is more on track. They just said if he's still bjg.il get a section at 38/39 weeks

Mines measured on the 100th percentile 😬 midwife isn’t concerned, she actually told us bigger babies are often easier to birth because they have a big of heft and strength behind them to turn the right ways and seem to want to get themselves out more than smaller babies

I also think it’s important to remember that none of these measurements are accurate and your baby may not actually be big at all

I was told the same thing at my 28 week midwife appointment, I'm going back on the 22nd and if she's still measuring big will have to go for a scan at the hospital. Been so worried 😫 do all babies measuring big need a c section?

My first baby measured 87th percentile at 30 weeks and was born under the 30th percentile on his due date. My second is now also measuring big but I’m not putting too much stock in it!

My little boy was established to be 9lb 5oz at 40 weeks he arrived 40+4 and was only 7lb 7oz so take what they tell you with a pinch of salt xxx

Im 30 weeks and he is measuring at the 90th percentile

Thank you everyone. Have heard a lot of stories that they’ve been completely off and baby has been born in the normal weight range. Guess I will just have to wait for my next scan to see what they say lol xx

I’ve just been told this at my midwife appointment this week, that he’s measuring in the 97th percentile. I have been booked in for a scan in a couple of weeks time so just hoping he’s not as big as she thinks. X
