Did any mamas get nails done before c section?

Got mine done before my section and had no issues at all. You’ll be fine :) x

I had acrylics on everything was fine

Both times.

I asked my obstetrician and she said it was fine. She even put the monitor on my finger to show me it worked perfectly. I had gels all through pregnancy and she even asked what colour I’d have for the births.

They have so many ways of monitoring you, neither time having my nails done was an issue. Wasn’t even told it would be.

I had mine done 2 days before and was getting compliments about them, I don’t think they care that much x

Had mine done too! Think they put some of monitoring on my toes instead

They can pop it on your toe if they struggle with your fingernail gel polish 🙂

I didn’t have my BIAB on when I had my c section but then I did have a surprise operation 5 weeks later and I did have them done, but they just put the monitor on my toe instead 😂 I don’t think it bothers them now!
