C section pain

I had an emergency c sections 3 months ago now. I found that the pain was a lot worse week 2 and the stinging/burning sensation on my skin was horrid. I ended up having to take painkillers every 4 hours everyday to try and help soothe it which in all fairness it did after I was dosed up. By week 3 I wasn’t needing painkillers and the pain had gotten so much better. I’d try and dose up on your painkillers, I found 2paracetamol and then 2 hours later 2 ibruprofen worked for me and kept me dosed up and pain free. It will get better I promise xx

I’m almost 4 weeks post emergency section, and yes week 2 was the same for me and I also got a strain on my left side but I put that down to me doing things that I shouldn’t have been doing. It gets better, I’m painkiller free & only thing I have is clothes rubbing against the area it’s a bit of a weird feeling but no pain… it gets better 😄
