Best supermarket brand nappies

Hi, what is the best supermarket brand for nappies? We’ve been using pampers, but I’m finding them a bit too expensive for our budget at the moment. We were given the Lidl and Aldi nappies, but they didn’t work for us, they almost felt like paper. Any suggestions?

We actually really like Lidl and Aldi. Asda and Sainsbury's were okay too. Didn't like Morrisons, and haven't tried Asda's yet x

Asda’s are horrible. Wouldn’t recommend. We use Aldi x

I like Tesco Fred and flo. We were gifted pampers but they are too expensive so we've switched to Fred and flo and they work just the same!

I hated lidls felt like plastic and made my LO sweat loads. Tescos are okay but I prefer sainsburys

Never had a leak and the have a flap at the back that stops poop from going up their back!

Aldi size one we're amazing when he was newborn and then he started to leak all the time, upped him to size 2 and no problems, they're 85p for 24 size ones and £2.30 for 60 size 2's x x

I really love Boots own nappies! I used pampers for the first few weeks and then moved on to boots and I’ve never had any issues

We use pampers and I love them. Asda's are awful, currently using Lidl as they were gifted, they are ok but agree, they are quite thin. Sainsburys and boots own are alright aswell x

Avatar

I love boots own or aldi.
We're currently using pampers as they were gifted and Ive found he leaks more quickly with them than boots own or aldi.
And I've noticed they leave bits.

Tescos are ok, Sainsburys I find super small in comparison to the others, Asda I use if I need to grab some quickly as they are well sized. I currently use boots little stories as they work best for us other than pampers and they’re slightly cheaper but not as cheap as the supermarket own brands x

We use pampers at home but take the Tesco ones in his changing bag. And they’re on par if not better than pampers. Never had a leak and he’s always comfortable x

Tesco Fred and flo

ALDIs are good used there’s before and Boots own are good! We use pampers tbh just cry when I pay for them, them and Boots are best ones I’ve found, but we got loads for baby shower so using my free pampers x
Asdas are absolutely horrendous, we threw a full pack in bin they were that poor- feel like the quality changed completely as liked their stage 1 x

We like sainsburys because they have an elasticated back and I liked Lidl too for my elder daughter when she got a bit older 😊

Avatar

We use boots nappies or Asda never had any problems x

Tesco or sainsburys

Aldis mammia or tescos Fred and flo for us, little angels at asda didn't work for us, morrisons nutmeg aren't any good either, aldi are better now they have made newborn stretch ones in size 3 as they didn't before when my others were younger x

Avatar

Aldi premium aren’t too bad they have a nice elasticated waist

Tesco Fred and flo. Always used pampers until last week and decided to try the Tesco ones as they are £1.80 for 50 size 1s. Axtually prefer them to pampers x

Avatar

Aldi or Sainsbury’s

Aldi x

Avatar

I really like tescos, I can’t believe anyone pays pampers prices they are crazy expensive and not worth it in my opinion x

Avatar

Sainsburys!

Avatar

Everyone seems to be saying bad about asda but I honestly can’t complain, they are really good for sizing and is our local shop so just easier for us! Tescos are good as well but do find them to be on the small size. I didn’t like Sainsbury’s at all! And I don’t justify spending the price for pampers as I really can tell that much of a difference x

Avatar

Tesco, Sainsburys and Lidl all the way here! Tesco I think have been the best. I do love pampers though 🤦🏻‍♀️ only ever use them when I get a voucher for a free pack or something!

Car seat question

I am 32 weeks pregnant and prepping hospital bags, I have written on my list don't forget the carseat! Which has made me think about the fact the carseat I have is just a buckle in one, not an isofix. It's got me wondering, how will the hospital go about it and is it something they'll be bothered by?
I do not drive nor does my partner so we didn't see the point of buying an isofix fancy car seat but I'm not sure how the hospital deals with them. It's fully safety tested and it's an i-size, R129 certified carseat and came as part of a travel system.
I suppose my question is will the hospital have a problem sending me home with my baby in that carseat?
Very random and probably a very stupid question but I'm now sat here over thinking this 😂😅
Picture for reference :)

Missed a interview for a job

So I had a car accident last month and was told I have a concussion
So I tend to forget many things now
My interview was at 10 am and I say it under my calendar as 1 pm
So do I explain I have a concussion and want to reschedule this interview?
Anything in the comments will help

Routines

Does anyone else NOT have a night time (or even day time) routine, and just pure winging it?

My baby is 14 weeks and we absolutely have no routine, but he has no feeds after his 11.30pm feed until around 8am, which sound lush, but he struggles with wind still so he’s up (and I am) 80% of the night with wind issues. However, I don’t even know where to start with a night time routine, as he doesn’t sleep well through the day, so when he’s asleep in the evening, I don’t want to disrupt him to start a night routine when he’s likely to be woken up annoyed, as he is always in a state of over tired ness

Any advice? Should I implement something or let the poor boy SLEEP😅

Would it be a deal breaker for you ..

If you had a “partner” that never sleeps early, and got the kids to school late more days than not. They are always late because he’s incapable of waking on time. Would you leave the relationship?
