Positive induction story

I feel it was positive, although I was in agony with the contractions the birth was very quick and perfect.
Labour
Came in at 3pm
1cm dilated
Sweep and pessary inserted by 4pm
Light bleeding around 5pm on tissue, nothing else
Contractions start about 11pm and continue every hour, roughly 3 every half hour (paracetamol at 2am)
By 5am increased to 3/4 every 20 minutes
6am codeine given
7am lost mucus plug /bloody show
Pessary fell out, 3cm dilated and put back in
Contractions every 10 minutes, codeine wearing off at 8am
Paracetamol at 8.30am
Gone for a walk at 10am
Pessary out at 2 (fell out)
Consistent contractions all day, bloody show continues
Baby's heart rate raised at 3pm to 180s, on the monitor for 3 hours and Iv fluids put up.
15 minute nap at 7pm
Consistent contractions, waiting to go on labour ward at 22.20.
Did not go to labour ward as it had emergencies in.
Contractions every 4/5 minutes throughout the night, lasting 30/40 seconds.
Finally at 5am, was given pethidine which knocked me out until 7am.
Taken to labour ward at 9.30am
Waters broke at 10.30am.
Already 8cm dilated by 11am, no pain relief except gas and air.
Baby arrived 13.36.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
