I am due to August and because of medical reasons am unable to breastfeed at all (unfortunately) as it puts baby at risk. My team whilst pregnant have suggested using Nuk bottles which I have researched and look great for mimicking the feel of a natural nipple. They can be quite expensive so when I saw the tommee tipee full newborn feeding starter kit in home bargains reduced to £54.99 with everything I need including a steriliser I couldn’t say no.
I will buy a backup Nuk bottle and teat just incase as it’s been advised but I was wondering what people’s expierence of tommee tipper vs Nuk was and if there are any compatible bottle parts to save money if we eventually need to move across but for the steriliser alone I thought it was worth a try especially because baby won’t know what a natural nipple feels like.
Thanks 😊

I have got any Nuk bottles but I also bought the tommee tippee bundle. I have read that not all babies will like the same bottle so it's best to have a couple of different sorts to test out so I grabbed a few Mam Bottles too. I'm hoping to breast feed but also pump so I know how much she's getting and so dad and others get to feed her too. Think it just depends on what both you and baby prefer to use, there's no right or wrong necessarily

I used tommee tippee with my first and they were brilliant never had any colic or issues latching ect. I have bought again for this baby.
They do say that not all babies like the same bottles so be prepared to have to swap. I have also bought a single mini mam bottle and NUK just in case
