Funneling cervix with twins at 19 weeks 4 days

Went for our “20 week” scan and was told my cervix was funneling without the cervix actually being open. Was put on progesterone and going in to be checked again in a couple days. Anyone have experience with this? Very nervous at what could happen since they aren’t past the viable stage.

Do you have a vaginal Cerclage? If not ask for one, ASAP!!!!!!

This is how I lost my baby last year.

They said since my cervix isn’t dialated they are going to monitor and see if it stays closed. But I am going to ask if I can elect for the cerclage without waiting.

yesssss get a cerclage, pronto. Especially since you're pregnant with twins. If they tell you that you may be too late for a cerclage, go on straight bed rest, drink 64+oz of water, try your best not to get consulates. And if you do get constipated DO NOT PUSH YOUR STOOL OUT!!!!!!!!! Stay hydrated as much as possible. No heavy lifting.

Did they say how short your cervix is atm? I had a shortening cervix measuring at 1.5-1.7 with my first son around 22 weeks. I was admitted to hospital and given a steroid injection in my butt which prevented pre-term labour and was then closely monitored and had to take progesterone suppositories for the rest of my pregnancy. I ended up having my son at 39 weeks.

I read in my notes it was around 3.3 I believe. I don’t know what range it’s suppose to be

I’m pregnant with my second and they’re monitoring and measuring my cervix closely with this pregnancy because of my previous pregnancy, so they want it 3.5 and above. I’m not sure if it’d be different for a twin pregnancy but definitely get in contact with your midwife to ask some questions and take it easy, don’t lift anything too heavy, just bed rest until you get some more answers 💗

You can elect to get a cerclage and i recommend doing it asap as my last OB waited then I and had do an emergency cerclage and stay in hospital 2 weeks afterwards since they did the “watch game”and still lost my twins before viability so with this current pregnancy I wasn’t waiting around and having them “watch it” i immediately had my new OB give me a cerclage at 14wks and also start taking progesterone suppositories. My current OB said the FDA stop funding the weekly progesterone shot and doesn’t even write up a script for that outta pocket but please please please ensure you have them do a cerclage/stitch asap to close your cervix, take the progesterone and bed rest if applicable with plenty of fluids help keep those babies in for full term delivery 🥰

Hi ladies!! So my husband just bout me a new wedding set and I’m not sure how to feel LOL. It’s way bigger and way more flashy. Is it too much? First and foremost I’m so very grateful and proud of him, but opinions?? 🥹

Ultrasound Scan and BMI

Hi everyone, really upset today. Went for my dating scan and as far as I knew from the sonographer it was difficult to get a good pic of baby today because baby didn't want to get in a good position. Read my notes afterwards and it says difficult scan due to increased BMI. I have a BMI of 39 which I'm aware is high, but I feel so sad about it and now I'm worrying how this is going to be throughout the pregnancy. Any positive info about any of you lovely people having a healthy and safe birth with a high BMI would be really appreciated right now ♥️

Dampness at 31weeks

Has anyone experienced dampness amd wet patches in underwear? Has it been your water’s slowly going or fluids leaking? If it was how long before they completely went ect?

I did think it was discharge at first. But it has no texture or odour.. just a wet patch like if you pour water 💦
