Flashy?!

Hi ladies!! So my husband just bout me a new wedding set and I’m not sure how to feel LOL. It’s way bigger and way more flashy. Is it too much? First and foremost I’m so very grateful and proud of him, but opinions?? 🥹

It's definitely beautiful but I think it all depends on you, you'll have some say it's not and others say yes because it's all personal preference.

I think it kind of depends on your lifestyle! I live in a suburban area, mostly middle class. I’d definitely be surprised to see such a large stone on someone at the local playground. Not that I’d judge them, I think engagement rings are so personal! If you love it that’s what matters! 💖

It IS gorgeous that’s no doubt. But w a baby, with doing house chores and whatnot my rock gets in the way so I take it off and only wear it when I’m dressed up ready to go out I only wear my wedding band most of the time but wear it, rock it, when you can lol. I’m overdressed everywhere I go though so flashy isn’t really in my vocab 😂

Waters broke — no contractions

Waters broke at 2am

It’s now 11am and hardly any (if at all) contractions.

Currently on the ward but how can I get labor going?!

I really really really don’t want to be put on a drip!!!

Heart beat

I went for my 16 week appointment with my husband and my midwife managed to find the heart beat with the Doppler today. It's the first time I've been able to hear it because in my scans they didn't let me hear it. It felt so surreal and I can't stop listening to it. Baby also kicked when she was listening. I just can't wait for my 20 week appointment now to see baby again and hopefully find out the gender. The heart rate was 140 today

Tracking movements

Hi! I’m just over 25 weeks pregnant with our first and I think I’m overthinking movements. Sometimes he’ll move at similar times each day, then other times I’ll think “oh I haven’t felt him much in the past hour or so” when he has moved at that time previously. And sometimes he has a bit of a quiet day, other days he’s booting me in the side. I have been to triage and they said he’s not neurologically developed enough to get a pattern of movements just yet, but I did the right thing to get checked. Has anyone else struggled with the overthinking and do you have any tips to help?? Thanks!!

Advice Please

Yesterday my waters broke at 40w and 4d at 6pm.
I was kept in hospital and started on the gel straightaway. I had that at 2am this morning and apart from twinges of pain in my groin it doesn’t seem to have worked. I’m on the list for labour ward to start on the drip but have been told by a student midwife it could be a couple of days as they are busy.
Surely when your waters have broken you can not be left that long? Very worried about myself and baby.

1 year pp pregnant again after c-section

Hey mummas!
Im 6 months pp but planning on trying for another at exactly one year. Has anyone else had a pregnancy after c-section 1 year pp? How was your experience? Did you have another c section or a VBAC ? I’m really curious!

First Birthday

My son's first birthday is on May 11th, which is a Tuesday. For his party obviously I'm gonna decorate, do this whole big thing. But it's like for one, do I do it the weekend before and that's Mother's Day or wait a whole week and do the weekend after? Also I want him to wake up and walk out to a nice big decorated surprise on his birthday. But I don't wanna keep all the decorations up. So what are we doing? Are we decorating twice? And just not going as big the first time, but doing something special for him.
