Maybe just babe to them that but give them a Hispanic middle name. In my family where I grew up we used half of our first name for females and the boys were named after dads so they were big June or little June white June etc. My husband they all had weird nicknames. I now only use my kids middle names that people get them confused on what's they're real names lol

Do you like the name because of the sound or the tree? Like are you looking for Spanish names that sound like willow or Spanish names that have similar meaning to willow?

Rio Rosa. Means river rose and is unique and beautiful

By Spanish household, you mean just the lenguage or from Spain? Because depending wich country you come from, you might find nicer names in a native or indigenous tongue from the country you are from, for example , I’m Mexican and a native name is Xochitl wich means flower.
my first daughters name is rose😭 but i agree it’s beautiful💛
spanish language, mexican and argentinian
the meaning behind willow is very important to me. we call the tree sauce, but like i cant name my kid that😭

I see your dilemma. There are over 400 types of willow trees. Maybe one of them translates a little better?

if it’s important to you, would you consider giving a Spanish middle name?xx
