🤢🤢🤢 i cant understand why people would say that about a baby

Yeah, it sounds weird but they don’t actually mean flirting flirting in that way😅😅

exaclty! I didn’t like it when my mum said it about my daughter “flirting” with my dad and she was like oh not like that! And then I actually looked at my child and it does LOOK that way! I think she just used it for lack of a better word

yeahh

I say it about my boy. He stared with his big blue eyes and gives the biggest smiles and loves the attention. I say he’s flirting. I don’t see the problem. 😂

All the oldies in both sides of our families keep calling my daughter "handsome" not quite the same thing, but I get the frustration.

this is very weird. How do you call a girl “handsome “😑😑😑 now this is disrespectful

I shut that down hard and fast with people and say he’s just a baby and we don’t sexualize children in our family.

sounds like someone needs some action fr.

I say that about my kids all the time because I'm a flirt and so is their dad so therefore my kids are natural flirts but when someone says it they usually don't mean "flirt flirt" it's just how the baby responds acting shy, smiling, ECT. Don't take it to heart and get pissy when someone says that just be like yeah he is or something 😂 it really shouldn't get on anyone's nerves I'm sure they don't mean anything by it when they say it anyway 🤷 just my opinion.. but I get where your coming from though

I hate that! When my son was 1 month old my friend came over and was like “oh he’s flirting with me, he’s going to be a lady killer! “ He was drooling asleep idk why she said that but people love saying that. I hate sexualizing children in any way so made me cringe so hard.

I think it’s funny and cute. We don’t necessarily have people that say that but we sometimes will say like Oo he’s a ladies man stuff like that. He’s just being cute to all the people. I don’t think anything of it. If you don’t like it tell people you or t like it but I personally think there could be bigger problems to worry about so I just leave it alone

Say 'ergh stop sexualising my baby' or 'and the boys'. Basically make them question what they're saying/feel uncomfortable. They won't keep saying it then.
Even if they don't mean anything by it- if you don't like it then make it known

Omg I’d go mad 🤢 tell them you’re not comfortable and he’s a baby they’ll hopefully be so embarrassed they won’t say it again

Haha my son has always been a flirt. He's 2.7 now and waves and smiles at everyone. He even said "heyo ladies" to the mum's at his nursery whilst they were waiting to pick their kids up 😅😅
