Hi im a first time mum and was recommended dr brown bottles or nuk anti colic. Also nan Probiotic drops once a day helps with both gas n colic. It gets better. We have good n bad days.

@Marie what are the nan probiotic drops? Interested for my little 4 week old girl

My son had horrible gas problems we put him on Dr. Brown bottles. I will warn you most anti colic bottles will leak some as it’s pushing air out. The Dr. Brown glass bottles don’t leak but still are just as effective

@Marie I wish these were around 5 years ago. For my son as he had severe colic and gas! Lots of vomiting too.... But yes, these will be amazing for my four week old girl who is gassy crazy 🤪

We tried 3 formulas before we found one that didn't upset our bubs tummy... we tried Bellamy's and Karicare Gold before landing on Aptamil Prosyneo. Huge difference between the 3.

Thank you all ladies I really do appreciate all the help

We were using Tommee Tippee at the beginning but they didn't work well for us, then we changed to Dr Brown and it was a lot better.

My first had really bad gas, infacol helped nothing else ingested worked and we tried them all. Pigeon anti cokic bottles were better than standard bottles. Our paediatrician recommended bio Gaia but really it’s all about the burping, just lots and lots of burping. He was not a good burper, I would keep going for 20mins and cycling the legs and warm baths for the farts. Had to lay him across my arm in his tummy and rub. My second is a good burper but also a spewer, they seem to go hand in hand.. she doesn’t have colic/gas pain as she can burp the air out more easily. The other thing that worked for my son with gas pain was a vibrating bassinet/rocker, for some reason the vibrations helped him fart. Good luck!

I was in the exact same boat - we started with infacol and that helped him burp but I was recommended Wilby’s by a few different mums and it has been life changing ! It actually breaks down the gas inside their body to remove any discomfort. I also got a probiotic to help break down anything complex coming through my milk (only required if you are breastfeeding).

It’s a compound medicine so you need to have a phone consult with Wilby’s before they will prescribe it to you. Just google Wilby’s and they have all the info you need.

It’s not cheap but definitely worth it.

We're on the Willby's too for the colic!! I'm not 100% sold yet but just think we need to get that dose right, I've heard really good things about it so hoping we love it too 😉

I’ve been feeling so down. I don’t really have anyone to talk to about certain stuff but I’ve just been feeling so depressed lately. Idk what it is. I don’t even want to brush my hair or teeth. None of my pre pregnancy clothes fit I’m almost 5 months postpartum. I’m the biggest I’ve ever been in my whole life 😭 I feel like my bd ruined my life. Not because I have his baby. But because he completely changed after I got pregnant and was cheating on me my whole pregnancy. He put me in a fucked up situation and I can’t get past it. Is it normal to get ppd months later? I haven’t felt this way until just recently. 🫠 I’m just so drained I have no energy to cook or clean. I only shower because me and my baby shower together or I would probably shower every couple of days. 😪 I don’t even feel pretty or recognize myself when I look in the mirror…

My sons doctor said we can use melatonin, is she right?

Last time I questioned about melatonin and a lot of mommies said no to it. My son doesnt have a legit sleep schedule yet. Its hectic. I cant stay up until 430am anymore. I give him melatonin and hes out 30 min after I give it to him for the rest of the night. He also likes taking late nights because hes in school from 1 to 4...what would you suggest?

Breast Pump - Recommendations

Hi all! As a first time mama to be, what do you all recommend for the best breast bump? I know insurance covers this so was hoping to get an idea of what brands are best!

Night-time nappies

My little boy is 8 weeks old. We're using Tesco's
/Aldi nappies during the day. But they just aren't lasting during the night. What nappies is everyone using for nightime?

Baby’s Cow Lick

My baby boy (5 months) has a CRAZY cowlick it’s on the front of his head, he’s had it of course since birth but now that his hair is growing in it has become very noticeable & difficult to tame. I am considering shaving his during the summer so hopefully help the outcome. Has anyone dealt with harsh cowlicks? What did you do?
