MAM dummies

Hi, does anyone use these-are they worth the hype? My baby doesn’t seem to take to the Tommee Tippee one’s very well but it seems like she needs some sort of comfort when she sleeps. What dummies do you use?x

We use mam bottles and dummies, the only ones that my son would take to, they’re also better shape than the Tommee tippee ones, we were recommended mam by lactation consultant

Personally the only branded dummy my little one will take, I think because of the shape. He wasn’t fond of Tommee tippee either. But nothing beats his favourite all silicone dummy which is from a pharmacy in Spain 😂😩

The only dummies my little boy likes (we use mam bottles too)

this makes total sense!!!
We were using tommee tippee bottles and Mam dummies…. Now changed to Mam bottles too! My little boy was just spitting the milk out with tommee tippee

MAM is literally the only brand my LO will use. I spent so much money on Tommee Tippee stuff too 😔. It's so much easier for sterilising too! X

I use Mam bottles and dummies, they are the only ones she likes. I love how you can take each part off to get cleaned properly also. I worked in a crèche before my maternity so I was able to see a lot of different brands of bottles etc and Mam deffo was the perferred choice x

I love the mam dummies!

My little girl loves MAM dummies and bottles too, however I didn’t tried any others other than the hospital nuk bottles and the NICU dummy! X

We have MAM bottles but LO refuses the MAM dummies. She only takes the NUK ones which are much flatter and smaller but will only have them for about 5 mins then spits them back out.

I breastfeed so no bottles but these are the only ones I have bought. The tiny comfort ones to start then the perfect ones to keep as little between the teeth as possible.

We use Mam bottles and the Mam dummies. I think its better to use the same brand dummies as bottles because the teat is the same

We use MAM bottles, but a mixture of tommee tippie and MAM dummies. Our babe actually gets on with the TT dummies better than the MAM - she can keep them in her mouth more easily weirdly, because the MAM bottles suit her well. I’ve read about supposedly keeping brands the same teat wise but our girl is fine mixing!

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
