The cap is over 5ml. My health visitor said to never measure from the cap as it can cause an OD because you don’t know how many ml you are giving

Try not to worry, I used to just try and pour from the bottle always getting too much. I ended up meansuring it in calpol shringes to make sure I wasn’t giving to much. It is all natural, but too much could cause an upset tummy. If LO has been ok don’t panic, just measure it out in future. I also found only giving half the recommended dose had the same impact

thank you! I’ve made myself feel slightly better and saw that 5ml = 1 teaspoon, so I measured out a teaspoon into the teat so see if it looked similar and I was slightly above, but didn’t actually let him take the full dose so I must’ve been almost spot on the 5ml mark thank god! Thank you xxx

Anyone else like savory (non traditional breakfast food) for breakfast? 😆

We had butternut squash risotto two nights ago and steak tacos last night - combined leftovers for breakfast were fire. Other than french toast with bacon my favorite breakfast is spaghetti!

Working vs SAHM

Trying to decide if I want to go back to work or become a SAHM. We went through infertility for 3 years and had our baby girl in February.
I’m supposed to go back in a month but cant decide if I’d rather stay home. We can do it financially.
I do like my job but it also stresses me out at times. I would ask to go back 3 days a week if I did go back (already asked just in case, awaiting response) so I’d have 3 days on, 4 days off.
This may be our only child since I’m 32 so I don’t want to miss out on these early months/years. We also have inquired at multiple daycares and haven’t been able to get her a spot.
Advice?

Linkedin job title

I'm wondering if anyone here as a stay-at-home mom has put on their LinkedIn "stay at home mom" or something witty like a "children's managerial expert", "children's personal assistant" or "toddler supervisor"
I'm hoping to go back to work in 3 years time when my son goes to school, but I don't want it to look like I've done nothing in that time

To those whose default setting is a positive mindset, so you find that you only attract good things?

I'm curious.

Also, if you're an innate positive person, were you always like that or did it take a lot of introspection/work to achieve a positive mindset?

Going out in a bug group of people and splitting bills. What is your etiquette?

This doesn't include the tip and it is not about dating either. It is about when you go out with friends.

Do you think it is best to divide the bill evenly even if the attendees didn't consume the $ame?

Do you think it is fair that each person pays for what they ordered?

My son's go to a special school where all the kids are disabled or ESL. One of my boys has two best friends who are there for ESL. I want to get them gifts because they will be graduating this year.

Would it be unfair for me to just get his besties gifts? I mention they are ESL because I don't have to worry about getting them gifts that are disability dependent like I would with all the other kids.

They speak French as a first language and moved here from Cameroon not sure if that matters. My boys dad speaks French too.
