Early labour at 37w5d

So Im currently in early labour.
Around 22:00 I had pains in my stomach which I thought was trapped wind TMI as I was passing wind a bit so didn't think much of it. After a hour, I knew something wasn't right and slowly stopped passing wind but had back pains, tightenings and cramping etc. I eventually phoned triage as it was getting more frequent and they thought I was in early labour and gave me recommendations on what to do. Birthing ball, rest (sleep) eat, drink, take paracetamol, bath or a hot shower. I ended up later calling as they was getting more intense and told to come in.

Triage said they think I'm in early labour and will check me and baby over anyways. She also suggested she can do an vaginal check to see if I am dilated or not and if I want a sweep doing

So she checks me over and I'm 1cm dilated, my cervix is soft and quite low which was an shock for her. She asked if I wanted an sweep which can be painful and I asked her to as it could potentially help progress labour even further. Was abit uncomfortable and had pressure

So we will see hoping to meet my little rainbow girl soon

Movement

Anyone experiencing really irregular/“unpatterned” movements? I am 23+5. Last week baby seemed so active everyday moving and thumping inside. The last couple of days the movement has seemed less - especially through the daytime - and also feels less intense (maybe just moved position or cushioned against something?). I have posterior placenta. Hard not to overthink/panic so wanted to know if anyone else experiencing the same! X

Breech baby

Hello all I’m 36 weeks and have been told I have a breech baby. Has anyone managed to successfully get theirs turned around?
I have quite bad reflux too so hanging upside down is not ideal.
Any tips or experiences are welcomed thank you xx

Father’s day

it’s my boyfriend’s first father’s day (our sons 6 weeks old) coming up and i genuinely do not know what to get him. he likes sports and work🤣He doesn’t usually like father day as his own father’s absent however with him now having his own son i want to make it as special as possible for him.
does anyone have any ideas of gifts/ things to do on the day?

Successful VBAC Stories?🥰

So I had my first child just over a year ago and had an emergency csection as we both ended up with infections plus other complications. I went through labour for more than 10 hours before having the c section, so I've been through contractions and everything and it was soo painful and uncomfortable, I didnt actually think I'd have the strength to deliver naturally after going through that. Now I'm pregnant with my second and I have no idea as to whether I want to have another c section or try to deliver naturally. I thinking, if I have a planned c section it will be less traumatising compared to the last time as it will be planned and hopefully more peaceful, but I'll have 2 under 2 so I don't really have the time to recover from a c section while being there for my 1st born as much as I want to..
