Swimming before ivf
Might be a silly question but is it ok to swim on holiday before egg retrieval will be two months after.
Just worried about the chemicals in the pool and egg quality??

I think 2 months will be absolutely fine. I had a spa day booked while doing IVF and asked about jacuzzis saunas and swimming etc because I knew I shouldn't after transfer. They did advise me not to do any of them. They said swimming increases risk of infection. I'm sure it would have been slim but I didn't want to do anything that could risk my transfer.
@Sophie I won’t be doing a transfer just a egg collection! Was wondering more due to the chemicals in the pool, but it’s my mums pool and she has lots of floats so I’ll probably just lie on one of those 😂
