Middle name and nickname help

We’re leaning towards Edward as the baby’s first name but I don’t like Ed or Eddie and Edward feels too formal for day to day. Does anyone else call their baby Edward something else when they’re little?

We’re also stuck on middle names for Edward Pickering. Any suggestions?

Yeah I think your only options are Eddie, Ed, Ted or Teddy, but it’s likely he’ll get given any nickname when he goes to school regardless of what you call him anyways! John is a nice classic middle name if you’re wanting to keep with that theme, a shorter name would be nice in the middle as both first n last are longer xx

Thank you. I think just went he’s little I can’t imagine having “Baby Ed” but Teddy and Ted are cute

April 1st baby! 🩷

Baby Millie arrived 27th March by elective section weighing 7lb 11oz! 🩷 We are still in the hospital as she has jaundice so needed to go under the lamp. Hopefully we are ok to go home today 🤞
For anyone going for an elective section after a traumatic previous emergency section.. it was such a healing experience for me! I got to watch her come out and it was absolutely amazing.
Also for 2nd time Mum's.. your heart will literally double in size and any worries you had will soon disappear.
Good luck April Mamas ❤️

Low laying placenta?!

This is my 3rd pregnancy. I’ve already got low Papp-a and recently had a private scan where they noticed my placenta is low laying. Obviously will find out more at my 20 weeks nhs scan but does anyone have any positive stories regarding this?
Pic for attention💙

Second pregnancy in 40's

So I've just had my first baby at 38 (conceived at 37) and have recently turned 39. I will be going back to work at the end of the year but I need to return for at least one year before I can take mat leave with full benefits again.
This means I can look to get pregnant again no earlier than December but I will most likely be 40 when I hopefully conceive again. This isn't such a bad thing as it gives me time to recover from my c section but I am a little anxious.

Those of you who had a baby in their late 30s and then a second in your early 40s, was there much difference in how long it took you to get pregnant again?

I love my LG to bits and she is enough for me either way but I would love her to have at least one sibling.

Witching hour

My 7 week old LG is so good of a night even sleeping through most nights, settled all morning and early afternoon and then 5pm hits and she’s crying and won’t settle even being held, sometimes she’ll stop for a little and then start again. This usually lasts until around 11pm. Took her for a walk in the pram earlier and she settled then as soon as we get home she’s crying again. Anyone else dealing with this? I’m wondering if it’s colic but she doesn’t cry continuously…

My Valentines baby 💙🩷

6 weeks later and i'm finally posting to announce my little baby boy arrived on 14/02 weighing 7lb 8oz!
After a difficult pregnancy, 5 days of stop/start contractions and a very long active labour he made it into this world!
He's definitely completed our family and we've really settled into being a family of 4! Can confirm this is my last pregnancy🤣🤣🤣
