Yes I had bought one when I was pregnant. It takes some time to figure out how to use it correctly but it helped me have a little peace of mind. Though some people say not to strictly rely on those or use them too often.

I had one when I was pregnant too! Was told by the midwifes that I shouldn't have but for me it was just helpful as I didn't have pregnancy symptoms so wanted to make sure baby was ok. I found it really easy to use x

I used one several times throughout my pregnancy to calm me down since I was high risk. If you do it, try to keep it close to your bikini line and move it around slowly so you can hear. Now don’t get alarm if you don’t hear anything at first, it took me like twenty minutes to find him at first

Thanks guy's!.

Home dopplers are not recommended because they can create a false sense of security. A heartbeat alone does not mean that baby is ok. Babies have died because moms found heartbeats on Doppler and did not go get checked out because they "checked on the baby".

It’s important that you understand how to use them, what a normal fetal heart rate is supposed to be when baby is active, vs when baby is resting and that you understand how to differentiate your own heartbeat vs the baby’s. I see many women posting videos of getting a heartbeat and it’s their own heartbeat they’re listening to.
Also if God forbid your baby’s heart rate drops, you don’t know what a decel looks like. So do your research!!
