Left the August group and joined this one cause baby girl decided she wanted to be a September baby instead. Anyone else waiting not so patiently on their baby to arrive? Trying everything I can to induce naturally!

I just left the August group too! I’m 41+3 today! I’m so impatient I just want my baby! I’ve also tried to induce naturally and baby is not having it 😅

Just added this group as well. 40+5. I’m totally over this! Induction set for 9-6 but still trying to have hope!
Been on this Raspberry Tea, Dates, walking, curb walking, ball bouncing, figure 8, squat, Epsom bath, nipple stimulation, meditation train for weeks! 😵💫

how long are they going to let you go?

I scheduled an induction for 42 weeks (weds) but I can cancel it and just be monitored everyday until baby comes naturally, if I want. They can’t make me be induced. Of course if baby or I am at risk I’ll be induced. I haven’t decided what I want to do yet 🤷🏽♀️

Man the Aug baby forum is lit compared to Sept. There’s like 11k members on Aug and only 180 on Sept.

Sounds like we’re both set for 9-6.
Yeah this is rough! I didn’t expect the mental game that came with going past due. I hope that we both come before then. 🤞 I was really making bets on that full moon too.

Yeah it’s tough! Me too! It’s a bummer NONE of the natural inductions worked. Have you tried the midwife’s brew?

My induction is 9/8. My dr won’t let me go past 41. I’m a low/no intervention person and did unmedicated with my first but I’m really not going to fight this induction if it comes down to it. I’ve got a 19 month old and my help is only here for another 3 weeks so I need her to be here sooner rather than later. It’s really starting to become emotionally taxing. I went 40+4 with my son and I was really expecting for her to be here by now. My family is in town too to see her and she’s not her so I feel really bad. This pregnancy has been hard and I’m just ready to start the next chapter.

Oh jeeze that’s tough! Well fingers crossed she comes in the next couple of days! 🤞🏽I feel your frustration! 😣

I haven’t tried it yet. Midway through my pregnancy I did get a lot of ‘castor oil works’ comments. That was before I knew the desperation with the unknown of Labor timing becomes.
I just went and searched midwives brew in the search bar tho and read a bunch of comments and it seems to have like a 1 in 5 probability of working, solely based on comment feedback.
I’ve also read that upset stomach/vomiting/diarrhea can cause constructions so I’ve been eating prunes like they’re good. Definitely causing upset stomach but nothing further. I am however considering taking a TBSP or two of castor oil tomorrow morning now… 😬🤷🏻♀️

OMG the pressure! I swear going this long is stressful and they’re all “try to relax”. 🤣

yeah there’s lots of mixed reviews but either on peanut or Reddit I read it worked like a charm for many women (if your body is ready) I took it Monday and went to the bathroom once and that was it. I had contractions a few hours later but nothing came of it. My midwife said I could try again Monday morning, I’m considering it!

I’m glad your midwife advised it, that makes me feel better trying it. Is there a reason behind the other ingredients?

Juice makes it taste better, the almond butter is sticky and makes it stick to your insides or something? I don’t remember that part lol and I skipped the tea and added more water and just chugged it

I just moved from the August group as well! My due date was Aug 20 so I will officially me 42 weeks f
Tomorrow! I almost drank the midwives brew this morning but decided not to. I did drink it with my first and it made my contractions strong and close together from the beginning. 🙃

I just drank 1 tbsp of castor oil 15min ago. I’m nervous to see what happens but don’t know if it was enough to actually do anything. That stuff is thick!!
