How to get baby to sleep more?!

I keep seeing posts about babies around 8 weeks sleeping through the night. We’ve tried everything we can think of and our baby still only sleeps in 2 hour blocks 🙄🙄 it’s killing me. Anyone got any tips of things that worked for them?!

Are you breast or bottle feeding?
They generally sleep longer on bottles as it fills them up more than breast milk. So don’t compare bottle to breast.
If you are breastfeeding, make sure baby is getting all the fatty milk which comes down after the initial milk, the fatty milk fills them up. I do one breast, once she comes off I then change her and put her back on the same breast, once she comes off again or is sucking with no swallowing I change to the other breast.
Last night she did 4.5 hours and then 3.5 hours. But the night before she was up every couple so don’t be too hard on yourself.

I exclusively express. Thank you - I would do anything for just one night of more sleep ☹️

It’s everyone’s own choice but defo co-sleeping it’s been a life saver. When we co sleep she sleeps through 6+ hours but in her own crib she wakes up every 1-3 hours🤦🏻‍♀️

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
