Fluctuating blood pressure postpartum

Has anyone else had really up and down blood pressure postpartum? Im 10 days post section & ive been sent up to the hospital twice now by the midwife with high blood pressure. When i get here, its absolutely fine 😫 nobody can make sense of it & i dont drive so when my partner returns to work next week, i cant just come up so i dont really know what to do. They wont give me meds because its not high when i come in 🫠 so im in limbo & im sick of seeing this bloody hospital!

so sorry to hear that. I guess you already have the device to measure your blood pressure, but if not May be a good idea to get it and monitor yourself. Also coffee/tea/stress can massively contribute to increasing your blood pressure. Try to relax m, avoid coffeine, measure it once a day on the same hand/same time and if after 3-4 days it’s consistently high, May be good idea to see a GP or a doctor and talk about your findings. Hopefully they will give you the meds then.

no ive jusy had a midwife coming everyday to check it but after ten days of waiting in 9-4, i really just need a solution or a plan. Im waiting to see the doctor now but baby is due another feed at 2.30 so I'll probably not end up seeing one as i didnt plan to be here this long 😫 i have no problems buying my own machine, i just cant keep doing this circus act - im just getting irritated with it all. Pregnancy was hard, i was constantly here & now ive had him, im here again 🫣 ill make my own docs appointment i think x

Have they checked your urine for protein or done any bloodwork to check for postpartum preeclampsia? I’d keep checking at home & if you get 2 high readings I’d go in.

Ultrasound Scan and BMI

Hi everyone, really upset today. Went for my dating scan and as far as I knew from the sonographer it was difficult to get a good pic of baby today because baby didn't want to get in a good position. Read my notes afterwards and it says difficult scan due to increased BMI. I have a BMI of 39 which I'm aware is high, but I feel so sad about it and now I'm worrying how this is going to be throughout the pregnancy. Any positive info about any of you lovely people having a healthy and safe birth with a high BMI would be really appreciated right now ♥️

Dampness at 31weeks

Has anyone experienced dampness amd wet patches in underwear? Has it been your water’s slowly going or fluids leaking? If it was how long before they completely went ect?

I did think it was discharge at first. But it has no texture or odour.. just a wet patch like if you pour water 💦

How long after postpartum C-section do you guys feel heal enough to exercise? Or did my body heal wrong 💀

Hello! 2024 September 13th I had my baby and it was a planned C-section. They told me to never lift anything heavy til I heal but I had a toddler and newborn plus the household chores to do.. my boyfriend always work all day long til close to midnight anyways I reopened my C-section back then . They looked at it and said it was okay so I waited til last year 2025 September to work out.. and every time I did a simple push up or sit ups. It feels like a very sharp sting around my scar like burning and it spreads out so I just assumed I needed more time to heal and yesterday I tried again but this time it hurts badly and I couldn’t do sit up or push ups at all 😬
It feels like ima reopened again and the pains goes away 2 or 3 minutes later. The pains is like 9/10. Is that normal or did my body heal wrong? 😖
Is it something I should go in for?
