How long after postpartum C-section do you guys feel heal enough to exercise? Or did my body heal wrong ๐Ÿ’€

Hello! 2024 September 13th I had my baby and it was a planned C-section. They told me to never lift anything heavy til I heal but I had a toddler and newborn plus the household chores to do.. my boyfriend always work all day long til close to midnight anyways I reopened my C-section back then . They looked at it and said it was okay so I waited til last year 2025 September to work out.. and every time I did a simple push up or sit ups. It feels like a very sharp sting around my scar like burning and it spreads out so I just assumed I needed more time to heal and yesterday I tried again but this time it hurts badly and I couldnโ€™t do sit up or push ups at all ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
It feels like ima reopened again and the pains goes away 2 or 3 minutes later. The pains is like 9/10. Is that normal or did my body heal wrong? ๐Ÿ˜–
Is it something I should go in for?

Just a thought but maybe some scar work and desensitizing would be a good place to start. It could be just stiffness and nerves not back to usual. I would also maybe start with more postpartum friendly moves like standing marches, dead bugs, bear planks ect. Pregnancy and postpartum tv on YouTube have great programs. I hope you find a groove that works for you.

Iโ€™d defintely go in and be seen. Iโ€™ve had two sections (my last was December 2024) and I was back to exercising and running after my 6 weeks clearance. After a few weeks I had no pain at all and after 3/4 months I never had a muscle twinge again.

It sounds like you might have a lot of internal keloid scarring and possibly some muscular issues like diastasis recti affecting your core and causing pain.

Leaking waters?

Iโ€™m 35 weeks today wooo butโ€ฆ every morning for the past two weeks Iโ€™ve woken up with a palm sized water mark in my pants! - no smell, no pain and unaware of it happeningโ€ฆ

I thought it might be leaking waters so got it checked out but the midwife said it was might be urine/watery discharge! - but itโ€™s still happening.. thoughts? ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

Upcoming C-section.

So Iโ€™ve decided to go for an elective C-section, I know itโ€™s the right choice after months of deliberating but Iโ€™m soooooo nervous.

Iโ€™ve had 2 very complicated births. I kinda know what to expect from the recovery as I had an emergency section with my first but I just feel nervous about being awake during it & what it feels like.. Iโ€™ve heard they strap your arms down and Iโ€™m scared of something going wrong.

I know every experience is different but if youโ€™re happy to share what your elective was like for you (good and bad) id be very grateful. I feel really unprepared!

C-section numbness

6 months postpartum my OB has dismissed my concerns about the right above my C-section area being numb. It is so uncomfortable to lay on my stomach now, and certain moves or touches feels like the worst nerve pain in life. Majority of my friends had a vaginal birth so relating to anyone isn't real, and it appears to have mixed feedback on Google
