Scratching and hitting

Is anyone else's little coming into a phase where they want to touch and hit everything?
My guy does, and it results in him repeatedly hitting and scratching me and my husband in the face, I am covered in tiny little scratches all over my face and it hurts quite a bit when he does it repeatedly 😅
How did you get them to stop without holding back their development? He should be hitting and batting at things to get to learn them, he's learning his hands! I don't want to tell him no, or stop because I don't want him to think touching things is bad 😭 help this momma out, pic for attention ❤️

I’ve just been taking his hand and then showing him how to gently touch people and pets. It’s slow but he’s been a bit better lately with people

I grab my baby’s hand and start “eating them” usually she gets distracted but we on the same boat mamma🤣 she pulls my hair, my lips, my shirt and tries to eat my whole face🥲 you can also have a toy near you

The claws are sharp no matter how often I cut his nails, almost makes them sharper when I do 😅

I tell mine that it does hurts me and show him how to be gentle. It’s better! It takes time :)

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

How many words

Just a quick gauge of how many words your little ones are saying at this age. I heard by 15 months it should be 5 words, are most around this mark ?
