I'm coming up to 3 months of combi feeding which has consisted of me offering breast then topping up at each feed.
I'd like to still give my baby whatever breast milk I produce in the day without having to offer breast at every feed so I'll more than likely pump to do this. I also don't want to lose the bond of BF.
I was wondering whether anyone else has been in my shoes and how you've balanced doing some breast/EBM as well as formula feeding where it's not time consuming and sustainable long term until they start weaning? 😊

I combi feed and was mainly breast with top ups of formula (mainly for his weight gain in beginning, then he wouldn't drop the top ups!). This used to be every feed but as he's got older he has dropped most of the formula himself to just having 1 formula during day if hes really hungry and 1 at night. I've found if he's fed both breasts and fussing for formula I finish feed and give him the dummy and distract him, he forgets about the formula and didn't really need it at all! I pump before I go to bed at night which tops him up during night and pump again in morning as he only has a little boob in morning and seems full for couple of hours. I try to freeze that one to get a supply up in freezer xx
