Protein in urine

Anyone else keep getting +1 protein in urine? I'm being monitored anyway but my BP fluctuates really bad, so I was called in about high blood pressure readings today but by the time they took them my BP was normal again. But now once again I have +1 protein in urine so that's been sent off (I did a midstream sample as advised) and another pre-eclampsia blood test. I'm going away to Cornwall on Monday for a week and they've told me to take a hospital bag "just in case", which has freaked me out a bit. If anything happens down there I'll be doing it alone because it's me, my partner and our toddler going and it's a 6 hour drive from home (in good traffic) xx

I have 2 weekly appointments and the last 3 times I’ve had my urine checked I’ve had traces of protein, midwife said it’s normal and nothing to worry about as long as BP is okay, cos when you’re pregnant your kidneys are doing overtime so your expected to have some protein in urine. But when they did my BP it was high, so they just waited a few mins and did it again and it was normal so they said I was fine😂 but didn’t fill me with much confidence hahaha xx

I've had pre-eclampsia before with my 1st so that's why I'm being monitored. My BP actually has been worse at home than in the hospital/midwife's. Luckily I take pictures so they don't think I'm crazy 🤣 Just want baby to be safe, I love pregnancy but it's so scary at the same time xx

Yeah I’ve constantly had 1+ protein in urine, they don’t think it’s anything to worry about but have sent mine off

I am in similar position, at every midwife visit my initial readings are high, no protein in urine, everything else is all good. Then they send me to DAU, they monitor for 1 hr or so, my BP gets normal by then and send me home. Its been the case for all along, they had blood test, preeclampsia test everything. I also had 24 hrs BP monitoring at home where my BP were low in fact. I am just fed up with myself as in what gets into me in the initial readings.
But nonetheless, I keep checking for any symptoms, keep me hydrated all day long which is very essential.

My blood pressure seems to be getting higher even though they’ve altered my dosage of blood pressure meds and I keep getting 1+ of protein in my wee too but they don’t really seem concerned so I’m confused tbh xxx

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
