Any one else like…excited to not be pregnant anymore but also know that when you aren’t pregnant anymore you’re responsible for a humans life so you are ok with staying pregnant for awhile?

I’m almost wondering if I haven’t packed my bags yet because I’m not mentally ready? My brain just keeps thinking about how everything is about to change and it’s terrifying

Yep basically. Every time I put something of hers together or hang up clothes, wash blankets. Whatever it is. I literally go 😊🙂😳😰. But then I think awe I’ll miss her in my belly. But then again. I’ve been up since 2 am because of her and threw up literally 5 minutes ago.

I really hate being pregnant lol so I just want her out. I don’t think the reality of having a 3rd child, a dog & a husband who’s always working has set in yet and I’m going to regret not being more grateful for the “easy” pregnant days (that currently feel horribly difficult 😅)

Yes! I feel the exact same way. I’ve been saying “ok I really gotta pack my bags” since 32 weeks and I feel anxiety over it, but somethings blocking me. I’m so excited and nervous and just scared. She’s been in so long it doesn’t actually feel real anymore, like she’ll stay in here forever! I don’t think I’m mentally ready either. The first step is to pack my bags tho😭

your gonna be an amazing mom first off!! but yes i feel the exact same way some moms are put down for not wanting to be pregnant because it’s such a feminine thing but everyone’s experiences are different!!! Mentally continue to prep but you were meant to be ready!! Your body and mind will get into the flow of things even if it’s scary or difficult at first your gonna be great.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
