C section birthing partners

I had a second person waiting for me, I had my son in May at the general x

oh amazing, my mum couldn’t be there at my first section due to covid so I was thinking of asking her this time! X

I had a planned c-section at the royal in may and only one person was allowed to come with me and one person in recovery, but as soon as I was on the ward 9-9 I could have visitors two at a time not including children, but I would ask at your pre op x

My mum and partner came with me but only one person in the c section and one in recovery so my mum did a lot of waiting round. I’d suggest maybe your partner giving your mum a call when you get on the ward so she isn’t waiting around as they didn’t let me swap my mum and partner for recovery either. It had to be the same person x
